I loved this movie, first time watching in 2022. 😍 Gregory Peck also outstanding. These two have such chemistry which helped make this movie superb. 💕 Interesting observation, the trailers didn’t really match up to the full story so I guess that was a pleasant surprise. 🍿

Mee…😜😜
Such a lovely movie 🙂
This is so random but i look forward to the part at the dance – when they first try to grab her & Gregory Peck tosses one guy into the water – she hurriedly grabs a lifesaver & throws it to the man (what if he can’t swim?!) .. that few seconds is so AUDREY HEPBURN to me, exactly something i could see her doing. i watch these (AH) movies over & over bc i admire her so much. She was so gorgeous & wonderful – the message i come away with is so brilliant in it’s simplicity!
BE KIND. Smile LOTS. Be respectful. To absolutely EVERYONE AT ALL TIMES. Audrey knew the secret – she was beautiful, inside & out! 🤟🏼💞

I saw this 20 years ago on a Saturday night. Who IS that girl!?
Coming to this video after reading "From now on we begin ethic"
Seems like an interesting movie, but i don't thing I'm gonna like it (not like it's bad, just that it doesn't fit in with my taste) 😊
Anything by William Wyler is golden.
The first time that I watched "Roman Holiday", I said to myself, " My God, Audrey is doing a Jean Simmons' impersonation". Many years later, I discovered that Jean had been the first choice for the lead in "Roman Holiday" but for contractual reasons wasn't available. Now, I bet that when Audrey was an aspiring actress living in England, she went to the movies and studied Jean's performances in great detail. Back then, Jean was the golden girl of British movies and being the same age as Audrey ( both born 1929 ), I'm sure Audrey would have related to Jean and wanted to emulate Jean's success and would have copied Jean's acting style, mannerism, and delivery. It makes one wonder, that had Jean got the role in "Roman Holiday( (which catapulted Audrey into major stardom) would Audrey have ever got the big breakthrough role..
Hollywood portrayed men as being romantic like how he was in this scene. But how realistic was this ? Not many men are like this nowadays and that's the truth! Especially not ones that look like Gregory Peck !
I had just finished watching some movie on cable and Roman Holiday was coming up next. I didn't feel like watching a whole other movie but I said, "Oh, I'll just watch the beginning and see what it's about." I wound up watching the whole thing it was so good and now it's in my top 3 favorites, along with A Patch of Blue and the The Best Years of Our Lives.
The trailer must have been made well after the movie came out since breakfast at Tiffany's came out 8 years after Roman holiday
This movie is great! Love it so much that I had to make a video about it 🙂
I've seen quite a bit of her films, but this one is my favorite. It also has emotions that I did cry for the part when she gets back to becoming a Princess near the end and Irving hands her the pictures showing how her and Joe had such a great time but then she has to walk away and won't be seen again having fun again. A classic film for sure!!
Although the ending left me with a bittersweet feeling, it's still one of my favourite movie of all time
THANK YOU SO MUCH. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!
I HAVE NOT SEEN THAT ONE, BUT I WOULD LOVE TO.
This trailer makes no sense: Roman Holiday came out before Breakfast at Tiffany's.
