Η εκτέλεση του All Day and All of the Night εδώ έχει το χαρακτηριστικό τρίχρωμο riff και την ακατέργαστη ενέργεια που σε κάνει να νιώθεις πως βλέπεις ιστορία να παίζεται μπροστά σου.
Οι The Kinks, σχηματισμένοι στο Muswell Hill του Λονδίνου από τους αδελφούς Ray και Dave Davies, μαζί με τον Pete Quaife και τον Mick Avory, υπήρξαν ένα από τα πιο αναγνωρίσιμα πρόσωπα της βρετανικής εισβολής. Από τα πρώτα χτυπήματα του You Really Got Me μέχρι τις πιο στοχαστικές και βρετανικές στιγμές τους σε άλμπουμ όπως το The Kinks Are the Village Green Preservation Society, η μπάντα ισορρόπησε το ωμό ροκ με περίτεχνη συνθετική γραφή — κι ο Ray Davies αναδείχθηκε σε έναν από τους πιο εκφραστικούς τραγουδοποιούς της γενιάς του.
Το All Day and All of the Night κυκλοφόρησε το 1964 ως σόλο σινγκλ γραμμένο από τον Ray Davies, και ακολούθησε την επιτυχία του You Really Got Me με την ίδια σχεδόν ανελέητη ένταση.

Punk rock many years before punk rock
the beetles were a pyle of shit
They Say this song and "hello i love You" from the Doors are kinda similar, i dunno which one was supposed to plagued. Avete capito?
If this was in the studio the take would be lost to posterity and rightly so.
The Beatles were great song writers but the Kinks had a harder edge.
Theres a great musical about the Kinks called Sunny Afternoon, see it if you can

I love that the thumbnail squares on dave's face after he messes up the riff lol.
Yo why did he say king 0:00
I hate music like this that is soooo loud it kills your ears, and prevents the vocals from being heard.
If the Kinks are not in your Rock and Roll rolodex, you are wrong, haha.
Musze sie tego riftu dla kogos nauczyc 😅 thanks, gereat song 💪 greetings from PL 🤗👍
Best band ever 🍻
F-u-c-k those guys are dangerous.
Awesome
this concert is older than my dad and this video is younger than me by a month 😂
Dave was one of the best
Anyone else spot Dave's grin when he makes a mistake?
Drummer Mick was right… Dave's guitar amplifier is set too high volume.
Teenage Dave Davies ripped his amp apart to get this rift! Beautiful!!!!
For how good Dave was it was incredible imo when out of the blue he scored a massive solo hit
Death of A Clown
ths follow up was great as well.
Listen to 'Milk Cow Blues'
I love you, Signe❤️arabia
The Kinks were Huge in the Rio Grande Valley McAllen Texas! We had teenage dances on Friday night at the Grapefruit Bowling Alley! The Headstones was our band and they The Kinks and The Young Rascals and any all the top ten songs on the radio. They did their own songs like Bad Day Blues.. Great song!
War a class act beautiful natural sexy woman!
Heavy metal Beatles
❤
Hello i love you won't you tell me your name ~
Dave miffed the chord before the bridge. But that is okay, this is live. Dave smiled about it. This song was better than, You Really Got Me.
Mick Avory lacks the drive of Bobby Graham’s drumming on the record..
Mick Avory’s drumming is brilliant!
Unbelievable he’s never mentioned amongst Keith Moon, Ringo Starr, etc.
No lip sync here!
A young Ray Davies!the Kinks!How cool is that!peace and blessings ❤
The kinks, Animals, Zombies, bad finger were the greatest uk bands of all time.. Such great songs
I like at the end when they chant "tuba" and "cuba"…..
I heard this song and decided I liked rock and roll.
In my opinion, the first punk band.
A super group
Megaprog
The bass player wins for the highest hang ever.
I love the way Dave fucks it up at 1:07 and just grins and laughs it off.
A great band. Inimitable.
