In the wake of Hurricane Milton, residents in Tampa are facing a new threat in the form of large alligators prowling through their flooded neighborhoods. One homeowner, Jen Messer, had a terrifying encounter when she discovered a massive gator hiding out in her garage.
The video shows the sheer size of the beast as it slowly moves around the garage, clearly in search of a safe haven from the rising flood waters. Messer, shocked and frightened by the unexpected visitor, wisely keeps her distance and captures the entire encounter on camera.
The presence of these dangerous predators adds another layer of danger to an already challenging situation for residents trying to recover from the aftermath of Hurricane Milton. It serves as a stark reminder of the unpredictability and risks that come with living in a region prone to natural disasters.
Authorities are urging residents to exercise caution and remain vigilant as they navigate the aftermath of the hurricane. With alligators on the prowl, it’s important for homeowners to take necessary precautions to ensure their safety and the safety of their families.

Should have turn on the treadmill
I would have new boots
Casual Florida!
Stop being so dramatic. It wasn't stalking, it's just trying to survive. They get displaced as well by flooding.
He’s just stopping by for a visit
That gator knows how to find a place to shelter instead of diving into the jungle pond. 🫢🐊
He was just trying to shelter from the hurricane😭
It has nothing to do with the flood. It was there because it obviously has a gym membership and wanted to get a quick set in before evening.
For a Florida gator that is small, probably a young gator. I usually see 6ft gators often in retention ponds. 10ft Gator is considered HUGE.
‘stalking’ bro they’ve lived in Florida for longer
Running on a treadmill is no way to run away from a hurricane.
lol bro was like "of COURSE i'd love an apartment with a home gym. just about to use this treadmill, in fact!" 🐊
that is not a huge gator
title is false advertising. thass a lil' un. HUGE is so far from accurate here 😂😂😂
Gators have taken over the flooded streets of Florida after the storm subsided.
See ya later alligator 🐊

Gives whole new perspective to the movie crawl lol
