Looks like someone’s about to paint the town pink. That’s because “Barbie” got a whopping 18 nominations at the 29th Critics Choice Awards, airing tonight at 7:00 p.m. ET/4:00 p.m. PT from the Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Airport, with Chelsea Handler as MC. Over the next few hours, we’ll find out just how many awards the Greta Gerwig film collects.
There was no one title to dominate the Critics Choice TV nominations in quite the same way. But the show with the most overall nods was Apple TV+’s “The Morning Show,” with six total. “Succession” followed with five.
