The Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Chicago is set to kick off its fourth and final day with thousands of delegates in attendance. Despite already endorsing Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in a virtual roll call, the convention is expected to be a hub of political activity.
Over 5,000 Democratic delegates, as well as high-profile guests and party officials from across the country, will be present at the event. Alongside them, 12,000 volunteers, 50,000 visitors, and numerous reporters will be covering the convention.
While the full list of speakers has not been released by the Democratic Party, reports suggest that notable figures such as President Joe Biden, former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will be giving speeches. Additionally, Kamala Harris is scheduled to deliver an address on the final day of the conference.
The convention will be held at two main locations. The United Center will host official proceedings, speeches, and televised events, while McCormick Place will be the venue for daytime party meetings, consultations, and briefings.
With such a lineup of prominent speakers and a wide array of activities planned, the Democratic National Convention promises to be a pivotal event in the lead-up to the 2024 election.
