‘Maria Corina Machado claims Maduro is becoming increasingly vulnerable,’ declares Venezuelan opposition leader • FRANCE 24

Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado believes that President Nicolas Maduro is growing weaker by the day, as she continues to fight for the rights of the Venezuelan people. Despite being barred from running as the opposition’s candidate for president in the July 28 election, Machado remains determined to challenge Maduro’s regime.

In a recent interview with FRANCE 24, Machado expressed her confidence in the opposition’s ability to prevail in their fight against Maduro. She pointed to independent exit polling and voting machine receipts which showed veteran diplomat Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia defeating Maduro in the election, despite the incumbent being proclaimed the winner.

“Every day that goes by, Maduro is weaker and weaker, and we are going to prevail in our fight,” Machado declared.

Machado’s unwavering determination to bring about change in Venezuela reflects the sentiment of many Venezuelans who have been suffering under Maduro’s authoritarian rule. As she continues to advocate for democracy and human rights in her country, Machado remains a strong voice for the Venezuelan opposition movement.
