I was lucky to see her in a play at the Bridge Theatre a few years ago. She magnificently impersonated Hitler's secretary in a monologue piece of theatre hard to forget. I love her role at the great movie Oh What a Lovely War. Thank you Dame Maggie for all the great entertainment you left us. RIP
✨🪄✨
RIP 😢 legend
Awh!!!!!😢😢😢
She is one of few actresses born in 1930s who was still working in the industry, some others being her British cohorts Judi Dench, Julie Andrews, and Vanessa Redgrave. In America, I can only think of Jane Fonda. While we don't associate Maggie Smith with the Classic Era of film from the 1930s to 1950s, she apparently was born on the same year as actresses from that late Classic film era (1950s) like Sophia Loren, Brigitte Bardot, Shirley McLaine, and Joan Collins (I think she is one year older). I'm glad Maggie had such a stellar career that aged well into her late age, gaining a new audience of young fans. She will truly be missed. Rest in peace Dame Maggie Smith.
She is loyal to the kremlin
