The RCMP have recently made a significant bust, seizing thousands of counterfeit cannabis-laced edibles that were being distributed by an organized crime group in British Columbia. These edibles were cleverly disguised in packages that closely resembled popular brand-name snacks, posing a serious threat to children this Halloween.
The RCMP have expressed concerns about the dangers these counterfeit edibles present, especially to unsuspecting children who may mistake them for regular snacks. The packaging was so well-made that it could easily fool even the most discerning eye, making it crucial for parents to be extra vigilant when inspecting their children’s Halloween treats.
This bust serves as a stark reminder of the dangers posed by counterfeit cannabis products, particularly when they are made to look like harmless snacks. The RCMP have urged the public to only purchase cannabis products from licensed retailers, where they can trust the quality and safety of the products being sold.
The organized crime group responsible for distributing these counterfeit edibles has been dealt a major blow with the RCMP’s seizure. This bust not only disrupts their illegal operations, but also sends a clear message to others who may be involved in similar activities.
As Halloween approaches, it is more important than ever for parents to be aware of the potential risks posed by counterfeit cannabis products disguised as snacks. By staying informed and vigilant, we can all help ensure the safety of our children this Halloween season.

Just take then a few miles off shore and see if they can swim back.
Good thing it was legalized, now the government has total control over it😂
Yawn… wgaf?
Waste of time. 🙄
Ultimately it is the parent's obligation, not the state's, to protect their children from consuming things that come in colourful packages. This feels like our government is abusing the law to snuff out the competition for their weak, overpriced, products. If there is a demand, why isn't the government capitalizing on it? Smokes and weed are too expensive at government prices. That should also be a crime.
Oh boo hoo why are the police 👮♀️ crying like big babies. Well they’re missing out on tax revenue that’s why. At the end the day one must leave the sale of drugs to the biggest drug king pins of all time…The Government. PS authorities stay off indigenous land too. You have no right to be there. Mind your own business. Maybe go investigate the crime in Ottawa Federal Government..
When all thats legal is 10mg doses no wonder
Trick or treat!
Um, those are clearly cannabis products and them looking similar to "real" brands is just the harmless humorous gimmick. Were those cops really dumb enough to not be able to tell "Oh Henry" from "Dope Henry?" Also don't they have more important things to do like dealing with fentanyl epidemic, rather then going after THC-infused chocolate bars?
What a waste of taxpayer resources again
my guess is that these aren't being given out at random on Halloween. They were probably a fun joke for adult customers. i'm not really that worried.
This again lol, its been legalized now for awhile, just stop slready
