Hello and welcome to a special episode of Tiffy Cooks! Today, we are transforming my home into a cozy mini café to treat 22 of my favorite people. With a love for matcha and a desire to bake, my mom and I collaborated on a menu filled with delightful drinks, baked goods, and tasty treats.
Preparing for this mini café took us a total of 3 days. On the first day, we tackled all the baking recipes. As someone who has felt intimidated by baking in the past, I was grateful to have my talented mom by my side. Together, we tested out recipes for buttery shortbread cookies and scrumptious cinnamon buns.
The second day was dedicated to preparing syrups. I whipped up strawberry, ginger, and lemon syrups, perfect for enhancing any beverage you desire.
Finally, on the third day, we perfected all the recipes. Our menu included cinnamon buns, matcha cookies, almond cookies, chocolate swirl cookies, tamago sando, chicken salad sandwiches, pesto pasta salad, and creamy sesame chicken salad. And of course, we couldn’t forget the drinks – matcha lattes with cold foam, strawberry matcha lattes, lemon tonics, ginger tea, and matcha lemon tonics.
