To me, just traveling to Indonesia is brave.
Wunderpus photogenicus?!? That's its actual Latin name?!?
OK, marine biologists have a good sense of humor.
I have an adopted street cat who was sleeping on her back, conked out and snoring, next to me. With her head upside down, she yawned and glanced over at the screen right as you had your encounter. Then suddenly the pupils widened and she was riveted! Great video, four thumbs up (2 human, 2 cat)!
Is it edible?
hairy frogfish 🧿🪱🧿
This is awesome, I love mimic octopus 🐙🤩🥰
Yall should do a bobbit worm video and a bit test the one video like 3 years ago wasn't enough info
THAT'S SO AWESOMEEEEEE I'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO SEE A WONDERPUS
Like i said in the bearded pig video, i love this style of wildlife stories on your channel! Hope to see more like it in the near future. This wonderpus was an animal I had never heard of before, but like all octopuses it seems to be a highly intelligent, fascinating and wonderful creature! Great work Mark and crew 👏
The Stuff of Dreams!
Awesome video!
Amazing Footage!
Wtf happened to this channel 😂
I love the content, it's very cool to see these wonderful creatures…but I wish more nature shows (and shows in general) would learn from Sir David Attenborough's style of presenting. The audience's focus should be on the animals (or whatever else is the subject), the presenter should only appear in the shot when he or she can add something to it, such as with the interaction with the Wonderpus at the end in this video, or to set the scene before or after the main feature.
Question, how does the mimic octopus know what other animal too mimic, like the sea snake, is it learned behaviour or instincts.
I have been obsessed with cephlapod's as long as I can remember, Octopi especially. What a truly magical moment that must have been. Envy is an understatement 😂.
Very cool. Thanks for sharing.
Looove this video!! I can imagine such a moment can almost make you tear up
Please stop blurring the animals……
It was worth a wait that the wonderpus was such a intelligent and loving such as heartwarming octopus it was no harm just good interactions sometimes animal are not always the way we think they are beyond our imagination

I called my Ex the same name
I wonder ( joke intended) what's the thought process of the octopus to get this friendly, even if humans are new to it, the risk seems too high.
