So the place you're at at 23:00, maybe had some more recent use (hence the obvious recent additions), im not sure, but it's actualy an ancient dock. Κίμωλος was part of the Athenian League during the Peloponnisian War. Also fun fact, if you didn't already know, the greek word for chalk is κιμωλία, which literaly means "rock from Κίμωλος", cause it was the place the ancient Greeks mined chalk from. Also the blocks of stone you found at the edge of the beach is 100% part of an ancient building that hasn't been excavated yet (Greece has thousands of places like that sadly-or luckily-whichever your perspective)
Hi Gabriel
I'm a big fan especially when you are in Greece.
Just for your info, Dionisios Solomos which is the name of the ship that took you to Kimolos is actually a Greek poet that wrote the words for the Greek national anthem.
Kimolos has lots of little inlets and beaches.
Plenty of swimming spots.
You must visit Samothraki man! Its north of Greece, you go to Alexandropolis near the border, nowadays its full of Americans because in the central port, there are a lot of warships and Nato skirmishes are taking place, anyway you take the 2 hours ferry and you go to a green paradise. Its a hippie island, a lot of campers everywhere but the nature is stunning, nothing compared with the baren Aegean Islands with no green. Plus its an island with rich ancient Greek occult history just google Cabeiri. There are natural springs and small natural pools, also thermal baths. Its a small island with very few traffic there is the hiking and the hitchhiking culture there. A lot of hidden treasures to explore as well, the island is famous about the goat dishes .
bom dia, today is thursday 29th of may, this is portimao in the algave and the temperature is going 2 b 39 degrees celsius …hight fire risk ! tchau, lol.
Gabriel: a Greek village is called a horio. The emphasis is placed on the last “o” not the first “o”. This is why you can find a horio on all Greek islands and even inland towns. Thought you might be interested
Good morning Gabe, congrats on your 64th island!
> Bonatsa beach is the ‘’wind protected beach’’, nearby kalamitsi beach is also great.
> A few km from Chorio – Profitis Elias, there’s a hike that leads to the ‘’mushroom’’ or shadow (skiadi). Nothing glamorous just a rock curved by the winds to look like a mushroom. If you ever go there, just don’t climb on top of it so you don’t get …hallucinations…
> Agioklima is a beach/hike that leads to a small beach (a bit tricky to find) with hot water coming from the ground…
> Polyaigos (not inhabited) island is really great. Unfortunately you can only go there by boat (around 2 kms from Kimolos). So, you can only take one of the touristic boats that do that half/daily trip (at the corresponding cost) but it’s really worth it (just make sure there will be no wind, have water /snacks).
Having visited 64 of the Greek islands, you’re just the right person to ask if you can say if all Greek islands are rocky and mountainous. Are there any islands that are less so and which are they. Based on the videos it seem that Lefkada could it be one of those or are there other less mountainous islands? Viewing form maybe the flattest country in the world and loving cycling I’m just curious.
Great videos and presentations Gabriel ! I am traveling with you through them ! Best wishes.. Spyros – Volos, Greece
I've been trying to figure out in my head who you remind me of Mr Traveler for yonks ….and I've finally got it ? Has anyone ever said you remind them of the actor Bruce Dern ? I don't know if it's the fuzzy chin or the slim build but you two guys are very alike to my way of thinking ..even your voices are a little alike ! Please ..I don't mean any offence whatsoever , but it's something that's been preying on my mind for a while watching your fabulous videos . All the very best .
I think all of Greece, all the islands, were meant to be the Garden of Eden. Greece is paradise on Earth.
Wow another great little island.
How is the mosquito situation in Greece?
Nice blue waters there!
Why don’t you crew on a sailboat that is doing the Greek isles? Probably hard to find ,but worth it if you do
Hi Gabriel, well, Kimolos looks more interesting than Sikinos, slightly more populated, and has some decent beaches. It looks like it has a few more restaurants. I often wondered how the food supply comes in on these islands. Not much is grown on these islands; it's a quiet existence.
I love how you go to the places that no you tuber has ever gone😊 fantastic videos
Enjoying your videos Gabriel also informative. Have a suggestion consider visiting Scorpios' previously owned by Aristotle Onassis believe there would be lots of views.

How was the rooster?
The rooster with pasta looked delicious!
They all look the same White House and no trees 🌴
Gabe, thank you for your love of our little country and the videos that you make to let the world know about it,but seriously, aren't you fed up with our islands ? There are so many places in mainland Greece that you could visit. Greece is not only the boring blue water/clear sky Aegean islands. Talking about islands, have you been to Kithira ? Alonissos ? Skyros ? Ammouliani ? Ithaca ? Fournoi ? Chios ? I mean, there's so many, kind of unknown gems you could visit. I'm so bored watching these dry places all the time. Last time I visited an island like Sikinos, for example, was back in 2010 I guess ? And the ferry port is just a stone's throw away from where I live !
The island looks like it might have volcanic origins. The rocks and formations are amazing. Really cool looking island. The cave, with the bed in it, served as an ancient form of refrigeration.
Before you leave Greece you must visit Agistri….a small island very close to Piraeus…If you haven't already!!!!!
Love your trips. Exactly like you, I was in Milos but not yet in Kimolos. Waiting to see how you find Kimolos.
