I’ve lost over 50 pounds while eating fast food almost every day. It wasn't that hard. I calculated how many calories I needed to lose weight, stayed within that calorie deficit, ate whatever I wanted, and the weight came off.
Wow! I weigh 150 pounds and am 5’6”. I always thought I was overweight.i guess I’m not but I still feel,like I have too much weight. The don’t judge me movement that started about thirty years ago has caused a growth in obesity. No one could ostracize a heavy person. People kept others in check years ago. We can’t now. So people just got fatter and fatter with no societal check.

THE TRUTH is one main ingredient that is mostly responsible for obesity Of course sedentary lifestyles, playing with your thumbs texting your life away without playing outdoors as children or doing any work is adding to this too. Exercise is only a small part of it. And all the artificial preservatives and flavors contribute. But the main culprit in this crisis is SEED OILS. No they are not "vegetable oils", they come from the seeds and not any plant. They are man made using heat, pressure & chemicals, unnatural and toxic originally meant to lubricate machinery not for human consumption. These seed oils such as canola, soy, corn, etc. etc. contain LINOLEIC ACID & ALDEHYDES that destroy metabolisms and damage cells at the molecular level. This results in abnormal fat cell creation and storage. These fake oils are the number one cause that started this whole epidemic in America beginning in the 1990's when seed oils replaced all the healthy natural animal fats and coconut / palm oils we used to eat in restaurants, at home and fast food. Follow the timeline, watch footage of crowds in the 1980's and earlier at dances, outdoor events, parties, etc. We were thin and ate deep fried chicken, fries, etc. all the time but maintained normal body weights. You all have been bamboozled by the big lie about saturated fats. Heart attacks, cancer, metabolic disease, on and on were unheard-of prior to the introduction of seed oils into our food supply. Go back in time and research the statistics of these ailments to the use of seed oils and they will run parallel. As you go back in time, diseases, cancers and cardiovascular problems diminish and hence so does seed oil in foods and seed oil ingestion. Saturated animal fats are healthy and necessary for the human body and makes cells able to reproduce correctly in the cell repair process that is required for life.
Why can't people start cooking healthy food in their house and im pretty sure vegetable, fruits grocery isn't that hard to find !!! Smhh

Consider the fact that the terms "healthy eating", "Weight Watchers", and "Planet Fitness" didn't even exist for the first 4900 or so years of recorded history, yet VERY FEW people got fat. So what REALLY changed? Look at the ingredients at McDonald's – other than some additives, it's the SAME FOOD your grandmothers cooked (primarily potatoes, beef, and bread), yet they didn't get fat.
Now consider that wheat crop yields are close to 10 times higher per acre than 100 years ago, corn 5 times. Then ask – what has REALLY changed?

I really think metabolism needs more study – i used to eat fast food 3 times a day and never gained a pound – been thin my whole life
I taught at a high-poverty public school where many of my middle school age students were obese. At the same time, living in the same neighborhood, I googled about nutrition, raised my child feeding him the following: oatmeal mixed with full-fat whole greek yogurt and blueberries and raw honey for breakfast and to drink he had a cup of organic whole full-fat cow's milk, lunch was pasta with meatballs or ground beef in pasta sauce and to drink more milk, and dinner was roasted chicken with a side of brussel sprouts or broccoli and homemade potato fries and another glass of milk. We snacked on high-fiber fruit: green apples, pears. Junk food we ate rarely and sweets rarely (maybe one serving of candy a month). we also ate salads for the fiber: romaine lettuce, chopped tomatoes, chopped cucumber, salt and pepper, caesar dressing. No soda, no fast food. I also make one-pot meals like chili, curries, soup or stew and add five different veggies into the pot: chopped peppers, asparagus, onions, garlic, broccoli, ginger, etc. I also enrolled my son in every sport at the community center and the YMCA. My son is not overweight. I ate similar foods and regularly did long walks (3 miles a day takes one hour) and yoga (in my living room using youtube yoga videos), I am in my 50s, also not overweight. When I eat sweets, processed food or restaurant food, I immediately start to gain weight. Sugar is poison and artificial ingredients cause inflammation. Alcohol is also empty calories and damages your liver and causes inflammation. I hope this helps one person!
Okay i understand these obese women want to feel good about thereself, but this kind of severe overweight is very unhealthy and they know it. Plus there not curvy there obese. A cury women is larger hips and breast, but not fat in the stomach and arms or face, this isn't curvy. Plus there was a lady saying wear a tight spandex so your fat doesn't jiggle , so that alone tells you it doesn't look good. To thin is unhealthy to. You look like you have one foot in the grave.
