Guardians: Saving Earth’s Most Endangered Animals
In a world increasingly challenged by environmental threats and the struggle for survival among iconic wildlife species, the role of rangers has never been more critical. These dedicated individuals stand as the first line of defense against poachers, acting as custodians for our planet’s most vulnerable inhabitants. The riveting new docuseries “Guardians,” presented by His Royal Highness Prince William and the Royal Foundation’s United for Wildlife programme, captures this urgent battle to protect our shared natural heritage.
Available exclusively on BBC Earth, “Guardians” transports viewers to some of the globe’s most remote and perilous locales. From the savannas of South Africa, where rangers rescue orphaned rhinos from the clutches of extinction, to the snowy peaks of the Himalayas, where the elusive snow leopard roams, the documentary provides an intimate look into the daily lives of those who dedicate themselves to conserving biodiversity.
Each episode sheds light on the profound challenges faced by these wildlife protectors. The heart-pounding stakes of their mission unravel on screen as rangers track endangered species and confront the ever-present threat of poaching. The narrative emphasizes not only their bravery and commitment but also the crucial importance of preserving ecological balance in these fragile ecosystems.
As we delve deeper into the series, viewers are treated to remarkable stories of hope, resilience, and the tireless efforts of dedicated individuals who refuse to stand idly by while our planet’s treasures teeter on the brink of disappearance. The documentary lays bare the reality of wildlife conservation today — a fight that requires not only courage but also innovation and community support.
With stunning cinematography and compelling storytelling, “Guardians” serves as a clarion call to action, urging audiences to recognize their role in the broader narrative of conservation. It emphasizes that the responsibility of safeguarding our planet does not rest solely on the shoulders of rangers; rather, it is a collective charge that requires awareness and mobilization from all of us.
Through “Guardians,” BBC Earth provides a window into the extraordinary lives of those working on the frontlines of wildlife conservation, ensuring that the stories of these endangered animals are not just heard but profoundly felt. As the series unfolds, it invites us to reflect on what is at stake and to consider how we too can be guardians for the future of our planet.

The level of detail in this documentary is remarkable. From the sweeping landscapes to the tiniest movements of animals, everything is filmed with such care and passion.
Prince William who makes his horses wear metal bits in their mouths. Family of hypocrites.
wow
Orang Afrika menjaga hewan-hewan, untuk di makan ?
😊👏👏👏👏👏🇲🇽
world govs have too much power, but poachers should be mass reckoning onsight and should be extended internationally to the people actually buying these. Also, droogs go on about cli-maaate but silence on india's import to Canada poaching salmon in their spawning areas. Absolute madness and Youtube auto deletes my comments.
I understand that in some rhino reserves, they resort even to removing their horns under anesthesia and then destroying the horns, thereby removing the reason for poaching and ensuring that no one makes money off of the horns.
Больше спасибо за труд!
This documentary beautifully shows how humans and animals are intertwined. What animal do you think deserves more global attention?
God loves you and cares for you so that this message reaches you. God is the one who created this large universe and controls it completely. The greatest loss a person loses in this life is that he lives without knowing God who created him and knowing the Messenger of Muhammad, the last of the messengers, and the Islamic religion, the last of the heavenly religions. Great intelligence, before you believe in something or not, is to read it, study it, and understand it well, and after that you have the choice to believe in it or not to believe in it. I advise you to do this now, before you no longer have time to do so. Life is very short. It is just a test, just a passage to eternal life. Great advice to those who… Understands
Real heroes.
