What a delight! We were able to see him a two different events at this year’s TCM Film Festival.
What a picture: an irrelevant media broadcast that shot its own credibility to death interviewing an irrelevant director.
A relic interviewing another relic.
MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN 🇺🇲
The original was one of the funniest movies ever.
Basically an ad for the movie. He wasn't asked about his well-publicized theories about the JFK assassination. That would be "inappropriate"? If the goal of the interview is to make him seem a lovable unconventional dynamo, yes it would. We are told that this is the sequel to THIS IS SPINAL TAP. Well, as any Spinal Tap fan (I'm a midsized one) knows, and any cub reporter could discover, it is actually the threequel. As A SPINAL TAP REUNION came out in 1992. And I have a problem with Reiner, in the same fashion as Redford, portraying himself as as a rebel, a Hollywood outsider etc. A star of the most popular sitcom of the 70s, the son of the creator of the signature sitcom of the 60s, graduate of Beverly Hills High School, director of THE PRINCESS BRIDE and A FEW GOOD MEN, etc. etc.– HE'S an outsider? No. He's more like Ron Howard. The guy in Dubuque writing sonnets nobody reads– HE'S the outsider.
Thank you Rob.
I know jeff beck liked spinal tap a lot
Were putting the band back together "Joliet Jake" and now Alex and Geddy are doing it for real! Maybe Spinal Tap can open for Rush? Rob clearly found his way in this world. Carl and Estelle were proud of their son. RIP to them both.
Rob Reiner – got all the breaks in the world but guess his daddy didn't love him enough. Pathetic!
There's no way this new one can capture what the first one had. The first one said it all about rock bands.
Is it wild that I love him the most in New Girl ? 😂 anytime him and Nick talk it's GOLD!
He used a Yiddish word (schnadel, I think that’s how it’s spelled) that I’ve never heard before! I couldn’t find any definition via Googling. Does it really mean what he said (improving)?
No , actually I forgot he was called meatheads…we also grew up with Rob and have developed much respect for this actor and man that he's become ❤
Well-researched and accurate.
I'm sure he enjoyed being called meathead twice on 60 minutes
Such incredible talent.
A DEMOCRAT SOCIALIST
Wait, wait, wait!…….I love Spinal Tap very much, but 1st "mockumentary" honors should go to 1978's The Rutles, "All You Need is Cash"
the original was a classic, reiner is a great director, but the sequel should've not been made
