Persimmons, with their unique sweetness and velvety texture, deserve the spotlight in our kitchens. As we prepare for winter, it’s a time to savor these gems that herald the end of harvest season. Ingredients
To embark on this baking journey, gather the following ingredients:
- 300 g Persimmon (Puréed)
- 3 Eggs
- 250 g Sugar
- 8 g Vanilla Sugar
- 100 g Melted Butter
- 300 g Flour
- 1½ tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- A Pinch Of Salt
- 100 g Toasted And Chopped Nuts
- 80 g Powdered Sugar
- Juice Of ⅓ Lemon (Optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare The Batter
Begin with the heart of the cake—our batter. Toast the nuts lightly in a skillet, filling your kitchen with their warm, nutty aroma. Once golden, chop them coarsely. Next, purée the persimmons; you want a smooth, luscious consistency that will blend beautifully into your cake.
In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs alongside the white sugar and vanilla sugar until the mixture becomes light and fluffy—this is where the magic starts! Slowly add in the melted butter, whisking gently to create that perfect base. Sift in the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt, followed by the fragrant cinnamon. Finally, fold in the chopped nuts and give everything a good stir until combined and smooth.
2. Bake The Cake

Dzień dobry! Nie znałam takiego zastosowania tych owoców. Robimy podobne ciasto z orzechów, drobno krojonych jabłek i cynamonu. Niektórzy dodają kakao. Kaki u nas nie rosną, ale jabłek mamy wiele odmian o różnych smakach. Pozdrawiam serdecznie i czekam na kolejne filmy.❤
