I carry daily and would like to think in a similar situation I would simply pull the trigger as I've trained and made peace with, but none of us knows til we're there. There's also the possibility the weapon was out of ammo or the action had not been cycled which someone who's never shot wouldn't understand and wouldn't likely reason out with all the fear and adrenaline going through their body. I wish the guy had managed to shoot but nevertheless I commend him for his bravery in getting that far. Hope he has a speedy recovery.

Disabling the terrorist with his own gun would have been the right move. But AU has opted for the false sense of security that gun bans promise and never deliver. I agree with many others who say had he made the morally right move, he would have been thrown in prison, probably for longer than the terrorist.
Once in awhile in life some are given the opportunity to destroy evil, saddly evil was only stopped in this case. He still did more than most. 👍
