In “Man Battles Town Over 12-Inch Cross, DESTROYS Them,” we delve into a surprising legal saga that began with a simple act of faith. Residing in a peaceful retirement community, Wayne Anderson found himself embroiled in a five-and-a-half-year battle against the Village Community Development District over a modest 12-inch cross he displayed in his yard. What seemed like a harmless expression of his beliefs spiraled into a major legal dispute after an anonymous complaint led to fines accumulating to $44,000.
Despite the restrictions placed on him, Anderson ingeniously used a planter to elevate the cross, yet the legal fight persisted. Eventually, after rallying support from neighbors—many of whom displayed similar crosses—the case was resolved in his favor. The settlement awarded Anderson and his family $70,000, with the district’s total costs reaching nearly a quarter of a million dollars. Not only did Wayne stand his ground, but he later ran for a community seat and won, aiming to ensure this situation never occurs again. His story serves as a powerful reminder of perseverance and the importance of standing up for one’s rights.

now obliterate them for infringing your FUNDEMENTAL and FIRST right as an American.
THE SIDEYE FROM THE PARROT as he said, "something sinister I guess."
the dynamic duo HOLY
Now who do we know that HATES Jesus??.. 👃🔯
Charlie Kirk would defend this as the Cross offends his people.
the most outspoken about removing religious symbolism arn't people from other religions.
they too would like to display their religions things. right?
people who have a problem with religious symbolism – are people completely devoid of faith.
and the MOST egregious of them I find had a previous relationship with god and maintain a grudge.
it aint the "jews" or "muslims" its the atheists' who don't believe in none of it and want you to share their misery.
This is THE VILLAGES. The most evil place. I rented there for a year. Old ladies drive around taking pictures of your yard and reporting you if they dont like your flowers. There ARE a couple little villages with chriatians but they are in the minority there
Beautiful story. Thank you
would it have happened if it was a menorah 😂 i think we all know 😂😅 or a crescent and star? nope ONLY a cross
I live 30 minutes from there Villages is so annoying with all there stupid regulations
Probably a Jew making the complaint
its a cross shaped vine trellis throw away the warning after you explain what it is…. done
Only vampires and demons have a problem with seeing a cross.
"So you're saying a 24in. cross is a no go?…… I think I can make a 36ft. cross instead but that's the best I can do.
I bet a Muslim "star" would not get a complaint.
What a bunch of bullshit.
Ive been following this story since the beginning. The poor guy is $40,000+ deep into this now.
Jew neighborhood
I’m an atheist, but I’m 100% on his side. I hope everyone involved lost their jobs for wasting taxpayer money to harass this man.
What’s the fine for Christmas lights?
He's absolutely right. My HOA won't let me fly my Confederate flag or my Third Reich flag. You'd have thought I was Charles Manson the way my neighbors acted. HOA agreed with my neighbors, yet the US Constitution and Bill of Rights says it's perfectly acceptable.
Some liberal " We todd"…
110. Its time.
Imagine if it wss a pride flag
I am a non-believer who is very grateful to be living in a Christian nation. The U.S. needs to pass laws to protect the right of Christians to proclaim their beliefs—the same beliefs that were used for the moral code which helped built the greatest large nation in human history. Not only should every American have the right to display a cross, but anyone infringing on that right should be punished. Also, never EVER buy an HOA property—just saying…
Bless you, Wayne! Never give in, never give up!
