Careers in the male domain – Female construction workers in Germany | DW Documentary
No other sector in Germany employs as few women as the construction industry. The few female construction workers face many challenges—including sexism. This report follows four of them.
Julia, Frieda, Sally and Anna. Four women who work as bricklayers, carpenters, and construction workers. All four women share a love for their profession—although it can be physically demanding. And all of them have experienced sexism. How do they stand their ground against the macho men on the building sites? And why are women like them still the exception in this line of work?

So many dumb comments… live and let live!
Now do about men in female-dominated careers and the discrimination they face
Good let them work now normalize stay at home husband
Rising participation of women in the workforce is resulting in falling birth rates across the societies. Women in harsh sectors like construction would only help for a further steep demographic decline.

I've seen 2 minutes of this video and it's so messed up and broken from reality that it's not even funny
I’m going to explain to my female family members “we are equal now, so they have to do all the heavy labor now.” I’ll make the lemonade and complain in the AC.
Why make such an important documentary about feminism?! Why not just celebrate these disruptors instead of focusing on abuse all the time. Even men are abused
Men and Women have their own strengths and weaknesses.
It's great to see women try out men's role once in a while but always remain humble and know what your strengths are.

It’s nice, and almost dreamy, to see these girls doing those jobs out of love. Many women in other parts of the world desperately need to take on those traditionally male-dominated jobs just to make ends meet.
