Red Carpet Photos: Brittany Snow, Dave Grohl & More at Mother Opening

The blistering heat sweeping Los Angeles on Tuesday night didn’t stop Hollywood from coming out to celebrate the opening of Mother’s first-ever stand-alone store in Beverly Hills.

The guest list included a mix of actors, musicians, influencers and fashionistas, including Brittany Snow, Dave Grohl, Ana Phillippe, Alexandra Shipp, Jasmine Tookes and Daphne Guinness.

Hosted by Mother founders Lela Becker and Tim Kaeding – they’ve nicknamed the store “The Big Boy – the evening feature pink margaritas, champagne and mini fried chicken sandwiches. The big photo opp of the night, in addition to people posing in the boutique’s vintage phone booth, was taking pics of cigarettes offered throughout the store on silver platters.

“Smoking really is back in L.A., isn’t it?” one party guest said as another tucked a cigarette behind his ear.

With the news of Dolly Parton’s death announced just hours before the soiree, DJ Mei Kwok paid tribute by spinning a remix of the late icon’s “Jolene.”

The festivities wrapped up with pizza from next-door neighbor Mulberry Street Pizzeria served from Mother’s vintage El Camino.
