It looks really quiet in Mendocino and on the coastal road given that it’s Labor Day. Maybe folks are on their way home.
Wow, the mural doesn't have graffiti all over it I wonder why that is
Your video brought to mind the song Mendocino by The Sir Douglas Quintet from 1969. They mention the park in the lyrics.
Gorgeous part of the world to grow up in. Never get tired of seeing the mural that you and your brother are part of. Loved the drive through the redwoods and seeing the rugged coastline. If I ever get back to California, would love to explore more of NorCal, especially the redwood forests. Only been as far as San Francisco, Napa Valley and Calistoga, which I really enjoyed. Thank you for the road trip and stories. ❤🙏
Famous for… 🎙🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶 Mendocino, the song 1969: "Teeny Bopper. My teenage lover/I caught your waves last night…." Hippie culture from the sixties onward.
Did I tell you about the day me and my bird drove up the coast from Berkeley? The daytime weather was just like in the instant video. We headed south just before sunset on the coastal highway. A thick fog set in after dark. It was a long ride home with lots of heart palpitations. Thank you, Gabe, for bringing me back to almost forgotten trails. 🎥🎥🎥🎥🎥
SR 253 from Ukiah to Boonville is true hidden gem of California. Vineyards to oak woodlands of the Russian river watershed to the redwoods of the Navarro river watershed. One of my favorite drives. Thank you for showing it.
Love northern California… beautimous!!! In the early 70's I went to Trees of Mystery and saw Paul Bunyon and Babe… very awesome park! I bet "my" Gabe was born in that old hospital… it would've been in the 60's. Thank you for taking us on this journey!!! ✌💙😎
Not sure if I have ever knowingly watched a video that had the word “dang” in the title. Hopefully, YouTube will not demonetize it because of it.
Northern CA is beautiful ❤ it!
Yes . Some of us had to leave, no family, transplants who could not afford to stay.
But, good on ya. You've seen me enjoying your vids for years.
World traveler here, more in the past but lived in NorCal coastal and SF for 25 plus years.
Just started the video. I bet he'll mention going to high school with Tre Cool again in this one lol.
Beautiful place!
We had potluck bonfires on big River beach monthly.
It was great there while it lasted. Many of the group moves elsewhere due to economic situations
I’ve never been to northern CA yet but it’s on the top of my list! Was hoping to go to this town, Carmel By The Sea and Willits, etc. 🎉
Great video and beautiful area. Would love to visit some day🥰. Funny but we had a song "Mendozino" (that is how it was spelled) in Yugoslavia and it was very popular in 1969 when I was a 10y/o kid.
USA jsou nádherné i když jsou opravdu ale opravdu velké a její příroda, lesy, pouště, města, vesnice jsou vážně nádherné.
Love Mural with you & brother in it, Cool..looks like a Beautiful Place, Thanks & Enjoy 😊
There is no place like home!
Actually love the USA vids😊
blessed you !
Thank God that battery died that was the most boring story I've ever heard in my life
The ocean, the landscape, the weather AND (as far as I know) very liberal people (something really important, in my opinion). There are not too many places in the world where you can find all these things together, what´s the downside? There must be one ;)))
Hi im subscribed in your channel to learning English and enjoying to your videos
Mendocino town looks pretty quaint.
Are you saying that the series plot was set in Maine, but filmed in Mendocino?
Hi Gabe. nice vid. Where did you actually learn swimming? Did you take lessons in Willits? Is there a swim school?
Gabriel , Don't mind Beautiful old Picture in your Town and your picture Nice Painting, D
