How wonderful to see places like this monastery, who would thought that the icon was from Jericho,Palestine from a Greek church there!?? Incredible video of journeys, unbelievanle stories,I love the respect you show dear Gabriel when entering a Holy place of prayer.
Any chance of bumping into you in Ioannina or Thessaloniki the next couple of days?
Incredible content! That monastery and the walk to it was AWESOME! Thanks for taking us there!
Amorgos, my favorite greek island, left on monday. I can really recommend the hike from the monastery to Aegiali, amazing.

The colour of the sea just can't be described. Out of this world 🙏
Stunning 😲
Amorgos features in the film”The Big Blue”
The Movie: The Big Blue is a freediving adventure film starring Jean-Marc Barr, Jean Reno, and Rosanna Arquette. It fictionalizes the life and rivalry of real-life freedivers Jacques Mayol and Enzo Maiorca. Really worth a watch some awesome cinematography in it..
Relative to 25:51 and 26:16 comments the movie https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Big_Blue was filmed in Amorgos ( https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Le_Grand_Bleu )
I was planning to visit next year and kept checking if anyone was showing Amorgos from this year and here comes Gabriel to save the day!.
Gabriel, your stamina and passion for travel after all these years is unmatched. Amorgos looks incredible through your lens. Cheers from Serbia, enjoying this one a lot! 🍻
really neat full circle moment
That is a wonderful setting for a monastery! Just stunning.
Man,that was some great breakfast!Totaly yummy!!!
Greetings Gabriel, please confirm the rooms for 68 euros you have stayed in, is that a double bed or queen size? Cheers
Beautiful hike to a picturesque monastery.
Would you agree that some of the Greek Islands have Euro Trash type people? This is what my grandmother said lol They avoid certain Islands.
Crazy weather this year…
You have done a few islands since Santorini! Lovely tour of Naxos town. Amorgos looks really interesting. You’re lucky you were able to film the monastery. Just finished a trip to Olympia, Delphi and Meteora. Fantastic! Did two monasteries in Meteora but could not take photos. Stuck in Pireaus as ferry to Paros has been cancelled twice due to high winds. Considering what to do. Great videos. Cheers.✌️❤️
Personally the best monument of Greece panagia hozobiotisa and the big blue..and I've been nearly all of them
That's crazy, 22 euros for Car rental. I pay more than that to rent a scooter. I'm guessing as it's almost October the prices come down. Safe travels Gabe 🙂
Just to the east of Amorgos, there is a lovely island with a very interesting story where just one person lives: Kinaros.
Jesus Christ was never in Greece
