World’s First 6×6 Ferrari Testarossa: The F6 Ferrari
Get ready to witness automotive history in the making! In a groundbreaking journey, Richard Rawlings and the talented crew at Gas Monkey Garage have taken the iconic Ferrari Testarossa and transformed it into a one-of-a-kind masterpiece—the F6 Ferrari. This audacious build boasts an unprecedented 6×6 wheel configuration that defies all conventions.
Under the hood, the F6 Ferrari is powered by a supercharged LT4 motor, which churns out an astonishing 1,200 horsepower—approximately ten times the original horsepower from the factory. The car’s chassis required a significant stretch of about three feet, while the body has been expertly widened with custom panels that draw inspiration from the legendary Ferrari F40, including its distinctive headlights and taillights.
The custom wheels alone represent a significant investment, costing around $60,000 to build. Interestingly, many of the components are sourced from General Motors and Audi, which enhances the car’s maintainability compared to a stock Ferrari.
