It’s take out not take away geez
Starbucks- Kaffeeautomaten sind die kundenfeindlichsten Geräte.
Das UI ist so dämlich gestaltet, dass jede Freude an einen bevorstehenden Genuss schon hier zerstört wird. Typisch amerikanisch.
Trump would put a Starbucks / McDonald's in the White House grounds.
Starbucks has essentially convinced many people that a cup of coffee is worth several dollars more than the competition. I've only had their coffee once or twice in my life. It tastes awful to me. Really burnt flavour. I find Tim Hortons tolerable and McDonald's much better. But if I had to choose, I'd stick with the coffee I make at home using President's Choice Gourmet blend.
I truly feel bad for the human race when dummies buy $400 hair dryers from Dyson, or audiophiles who spend a fortune on a turntable thinking that they are getting a better sound. It's all psychological. We have internal biases that we can fall for subconsciously. Corporate greed knows no bounds. I'm sick and tired of these CEOs.
Chinese propaganda
Although there coffee is good it is very expensive
I never drink coffffee because I haven’t got any hair it’s so embarrassing
if you dont have 45 mins: TL/DW: Corporate greed once again killed something special / niche.
Totally overrated and overpriced.
🏋♀ Nocturia Man will never pay for expensive coffee EVER! 🌛☕
Very expensive, but great coffee, the employees are great, and I always leave a tip. Not an everyday visit.
Luckin coffee is the king
When a Barista spits in a customer's cup, in this case a Police officer in Los Angeles, i stopped visiting Starbucks.
Starbucks should have thanked those black kids for taking up space that paying customers would otherwise occupy and making noise. That's what we should all do.
Why go to Starbucks when i can get good coffee in almost any large city?
Love sitting at a Starbucks and watch all these Why Starbucks failed videos
I make better tasting coffee at home, but I still go to Starbucks twice a week for the ambience.
I go to SB- I wish that the OG owners hadn’t sold out. And bring back the Toasted Coconut Frap!!
They can keep there, anti union, overpriced, huge corporation profit Joe.
Even Dunkin Donuts has better coffee
Starbucks and the Ouroboros
By presenting itself as a place outside of work and home where we can truly be ourselves, the business of Starbucks not only provides a subtle commentary on the alienation we feel in our everyday lives, but also on the system that it is embedded; a system of which alienation is symptomatic, and that feeds off itself by producing and selling solutions for problems it itself creates.
Precocious wannabes
16 oz "drink"
2 oz coffee
We went to Japan in 2017, drinking coffee in Nagoya and Tokyo, we were surprised that coffee they are adding hot water about 1/3 of the 2/3 of coffee. It is shocking.
I go to starbucks every day to work on my laptop, and I've been coming here for like a year straight, the people are great. My only gripe is since they got this new coffee machine, with the beans on top, it takes forever to make the coffee so by the time it's finished, all the employees forget that my coffee is sitting there, and I've waited up to 30 minutes before, until I even mentioned it. I don't like complaining and it's not their fault that the new machine doesn't seem to have a beep or timer or something to let them know it's finished. Unless it does and they just don't know it? And the flies in summer love me. That's really it. 🙂 Also, why are there always so many "karens" in the comments whining about literally everything in life? Nobody is forcing you to go to Starbucks. Or leave your house. boo hoo.
Quote: "What is branding all about? It is being able to sell a coffee for a couple of dollars rather than 50 cents". this is exactly why I have always distanced myself salesmen marketers. Next he says, "You've convinced people that it's worth paying that extra because you're paying for more than just simply the product" So you are saying it's not worth more, but you have convinced people of that? No wonder we now have the most morally corrupt president in history. American business is corrupt to the core.
Good coffee is like fine wine ..I pay it any day
And then they erased everyones Stars a few years ago. I had 18,000 Stars. But the more loyal you were, the most you got punished. I had accumulated 18,000 Stars. It was something I was proud of. Baristas marveled at the number of Stars I had. They kept asking "Do you want to use your Stars?" and I kept telling them that "No. I am saving up for a Corvette. Once you et 100,000 Stars, Starbucks gives you a new Corvette" [I was kidding, of course]. The Baristas finally caught on that I was joking about the Corvette.
But then Starbucks decided to expire my 18,000 Stars. They told me that I had to Use them or Lose them. I used to stop at Starbucks in my home city and as I traveled. I still go to Starbucks because of the Third Place concept. But I don't go as often and I don't spend as much.
The starbucks is the hometown club of Far-right wing power.
Joe Beans makes Starbucks look like it’s just a beginner.
Sick of apps, especially tip apps….
