Get over your Russian domination mind set Gabriel. It's only your paranoia, not the local problem.
vegetables look really good.
🇨🇦❤🍁👍🇰🇬
The city I remember from 30 years ago was comfortable and had very little traffic. Its population was only around 500,000–700,000, but now it seems to have more than doubled.
In your video, I noticed many Indian and Pakistani people on the streets. The old, narrow Soviet-era roads were never designed to accommodate so many additional people and vehicles.
In your previous video, you described the city as definitely developing. However, what I see is that construction companies keep building more and more residential buildings, while the city seems to be doing far too little to improve its infrastructure for the people who live there.
Real development is not just about constructing more buildings. It should also mean better roads, efficient public transportation, less traffic congestion, and a more comfortable living environment for everyone.
Russia did not invade country. The incorporation of Kyrgyz territories into the Russian Empire was not that simple. I'm kyrgyz but I would like you to do the research of the history. About oppression of Kyrgyz by the Kokand Khanate (currently Uzbekistan), tribal conflicts, regional threats such as encroachments and military raids by neighboring Kazakh and Uzbek rulers, as well as pressure from China. All these factors made a defensive alliance with Russia highly appealing for the Northern Tien Shan Kyrgyz tribes. Southern tribes might be different story. The question was not simply whether the Kyrgyz wanted to be independent. It was also how they could preserve their autonomy in a region where neighboring states were becoming more powerful. Kokand's rulers sought to extend political and fiscal control over Kyrgyz communities, particularly through forts, garrisons, taxation, and the demands they placed on local leaders. Historical accounts describe Kyrgyz approaches to both Russia and Qing China before the final incorporation into the Russian Empire. Seeking an outside patron was therefore not an invention of Russian historians after the conquest; it was part of the region's actual diplomatic politics. You might be listening someone about Russian Oppression, but without Russia there would not be Bishkek and Kyrgyzstan. The place would be very much like Afganistan, or Nepal. Yes, there is a dark side of the history too and as I mention not everything here is simple. https://www.britannica.com/place/Kyrgyzstan/History

Great ancient land❤ fruitful cuisine and cheap markets
Wow, nice to have a good selection but that's ridiculous. I'd have a hard time figuring out where to actually shop.
A lot of those Stan countries are big into the UFC scene. Obviously they wanted to praise Max Holloway. BMF title holder at light weight. That's respect!
Salam to all people of Dear Kazakhstan
Great to see you explore new countries
You look like your brother.
Wow what a huge market – they must have a lot of farms
Nice walk around Gabe, that Market looked pretty cool.. Maybe it's time to Travel to Russia. A trip to Moscow 🙂 Safe Travels..
Welcome to Kyrgyzstan 🇰🇬 and the Bishkek Turist👍🏻
Good thing that you will be addressing the question of Russia. Russia to this day is essentially an unreformed empire
I recommend checking out Safdarjang Tomb while in Delhi. It’s sort of hidden gem – very cool architecture and tranquil:)
I took my wife last year there and she absolutely loved it.
So why have you avoided Pakistan? 8000 meter peaks, excellent food, and safe if you stay away from the Afghan border. Best time to see the Karokorum peaks in June-September, being behind the rain shadow & blocking the monsoon rains. I recommend Hunza.
Its not whole Bishkek, you show only one bazar for inner immigrants 🤡
07:21 What happened there, that encounter?
