A week of extreme challenges on the open ocean – Video

This past week has been nothing short of a roller coaster ride for the crew of Zatara on the high seas! From dealing with package delays and import fees to successfully installing new props, to their buddy boat losing their dinghy at sea, to installing brand new lithium ion batteries, to discovering more damages under the boat – it seems like they just can’t catch a break!

Zatara is now a supercharged Smartboat thanks to their new lithium ion batteries from Epoch Batteries. These smart batteries come with a built-in battery management system to ensure their safety and longevity. They have also upgraded their props with help from PYI Inc, who shipped the props quickly and assisted with the installation.

Despite facing numerous challenges, the crew remains positive and determined to overcome any obstacles that come their way. With new batteries, props, and a plan to address the damages under the boat, they are ready to continue their sailing journey.
