I really like Odette Alverez. Her understanding of silhouette and her fabric choices align with my fashion aesthetic, much like Isabel Sanchis and Juana Martin. So the fact that this collection toggled between antebellum bustles and I Dream of Genie genie outfits and everything in between was not confusing. Every piece stood on its own. What I found to be disjointed was the pairing with the hats and the flats. Styling can make or break an outfit. Otherwise, if I had money (I don't), I would buy at least 10 pieces. I found those pieces to be uniquely fabulous. A job well done.
How is it possible to do this? Stratosphically strange clothes and in such bad taste, and especially with those tacky hats typical of the most rancid Spanish high society.
Fabulous collection! That last ensemble is absolutely stunning!!!
