Ukrainian forces have reportedly advanced further into Russian territory, specifically up to two kilometers into the Kursk region. This development comes after Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that discussions are underway to establish a military administration in Kursk in order to facilitate the evacuation of civilians. Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko also confirmed that a buffer zone is being created to protect border communities from shelling.
The Ukrainian military has implemented movement restrictions in the Sumy region, which borders Kursk. This measure is said to be in response to intense fighting in the area, as well as the increased presence of Russian reconnaissance and sabotage units.
The situation in the region remains tense, with ongoing conflict and the threat of further escalation. The advancement of Ukrainian forces into Russian territory marks a significant development in the conflict between the two countries.

Kadyrovs men really helped out ukraine with russias border 💙 💛
Sending a handful of troops into scrubland and terrorising civilian villagers is not how anyone would define 'advancement".
Turns out you can simply walk into Mordor.
A Ukrainian defensive line inside of Russia can help avoid some damage to Ukrainian cities and could potentially be held with a similar amount of resources after the advances are consolidated with fortified lines.

I believe Zelenskyy
Russia is building their defenses so far back that Ukraine will hold a third of Kursk before they hit them
The only question is if the new line of defense will work any better than the first two that Ukraine blew through on the first day
Now the bully gets bullies back. now Putin cannot rest
If Russia is going to repel Ukraine's incursion, it would be less intense because devastation would be inside Russia.

Good luck with all that hope. Ukrainians are being eliminated daily now in Kursk. Now they say we just want buffer zone. Tomorrow they should defend Sumy. I bet on this. This woman is day dreaming and too emotional.
Nato vs putin
Many Putin supporters believe that Ukraine mistakenly attacked Russia. Some naively made up that Zelenskyy had declared regret.
Twelve reasons for Ukraine's attack on Russia:
1) Switching from defense to offense boosts the morale of the Ukrainian army.
2) Makes the Russian people distrust Putin and shows Russia's inability to defend.
3) Russian pilots and missiles cannot freely drop bombs or fire as they did on Ukrainian soil.
4) Russian troops must spread out to protect thousands of kilometers of the border.
5) Makes Russian troops lose morale when the rear (Russia) is attacked.
6) Putin will be angry and fire personnel (change generals, ministers, etc.), which will cause many inappropriate changes.
7) Russia must spend time and money to build a new defense line.
8) Russian pilots and missiles must fly further because airports near the border are destroyed.
9) There are conditions for negotiations.
10) Make NATO countries support and trust.
11) Have to spend effort and money to evacuate >120,000 Russian civilians.
12) Putin forced the Russian parliament to approve the use of Nuclear when Russia is attacked, making NATO & the US afraid of this red line. Ukraine's attack on Russia proves that Putin does not dare to use Nuclear but only threatens.
Its not a buffer zone. Its a fly trap. Russians closing in from all directions will end up fighting eachother wilst ukr secretly pulls out
I'm no expery but if it was up to me they should absolutely annex the newly captured territory as Russia has done to Ukrainian captured territory
