How do we balance earthly living, the usual whole cycle of human reproduction and yet find a balance and find happiness and spread that enlightenment. It is tough. But we still see people do that all the time. We just have to find them. Why is India so closed to outside world? It is always open and always international throughout the history. These North Indians are idiots.
Expat retired in India, best weather all year for living is Bangalore South India
Memories of Sept 2025 visited Pondicherry and Auroville, really loved it.
Saturday was a holiday it was Eid Mubarak, the breaking of fast from the 30 days of Ramadan 🙏 It can fall on different days depending upon the country. In Australia our Muslim community celebrated it Friday, so I wished the family I know in India happy Eid only to be advised they were still fasting and it was Saturday for them 🙈🤷♀️ Same as Holi can be a different day here than in India.
Experimental city? Its going to be clean and orderly with soap.
I think Hindu temples in ancient times were painted in multi-colors like active temples currently are. The plain stone or monochrome appearance we see today is the result of weathering of natural pigments.. The same applies to ancient Greek and Roman statues.
How many times has Gabe missed something by not booking in advance lol
Very beautiful gabriel i love your videos i watch over 200 last year
Great place. I'm guessing Andaman Islands next….
The interesting aspect about the Auroville phenomenon is how the early movement correlated to the new age movement in the West, where reformed interpretations of traditional schools of Hinduism did draw a dedicated group of international devotees that simulated the new age cult experience of a pod like in-group so to escape from Western capitalism into a form of idealistic communalism and artistic expressions. These expression of were in part towards a higher mind in a virtue ethics style, symbolic of the lotus rising above the mud.
Great adventures gabe! Heading towwards the himalayas by any chance? enjoy!
Actually foreigners come to India only for viewer and subscriber growing. India is a largest population
Thank you Gabriel for showing the Matrimandir. It looks amazing and the story behind is as interesting and charming. Knowing about such a place as Auroville is a comforting thought especially in the turmoil we live in today. I hope you'll get the chance to visit the Matrimandi finished some other time.🙏
