Long before prediabetes and diabetes comes insulin resistance. You can be insulin resistant for 15-20 years before you develop diabetes!
Chronic sugar consumption can lead to insulin resistance, but seed oils can be equally problematic. Seed oils cause damage to the cell membranes (which contain insulin receptors) and damage to the mitochondria.
There is evidence that unsaturated fatty acids can reduce the risk of diabetes, but this is not the case with rancid, oxidized seed oils. These highly refined seed oils are full of toxic byproducts such as aldehydes, which create irreversible damage in the insulin receptor. The average person consumes 25%-30% of their calories from seed oils.
You can have high insulin and normal blood sugar for many years. Over time, this overworks the pancreas, causing the beta cells that produce insulin to become overworked and eventually stop producing insulin, leaving the body without a mechanism to regulate blood sugar levels.
Normal blood sugar should be around 80, which is equivalent to a single teaspoon of sugar in the blood, even though the average person consumes 81 to 131 teaspoons of sugar every day!
If you have diabetes or you want to avoid it, avoid these foods:
1. Fast food fries and fried chicken
2. Deep-fried restaurant foods
3. Chips/crisps/corn chips
4. Doughnuts and pastries
5. Sweetened drinks
6. Frozen breaded foods
7. Commercial salad dressing and mayo
8. Instant noodles
9. Granola/protein bars and cookies
10. Microwave popcorn
To detox aldehydes, consume more of the following nutrients:
•Carnosine: grass-fed red meat
•Sulfur-rich vegetables: onions, garlic, broccoli
•Polyphenols: green tea, dark chocolate, pomegranate

Thank you for the video. I have fallen off so bad because I do travel for work. I made my own chicken but I do indulge at my temporary workplace. I can't wait to go home and do another 7-10 Day water fast. My A1C touched the 6% for the first time. Not good. So wish me luck y'all.
I had a difficult time giving up corn chips. So now I make my own. I buy tortillas from the store slice them in triangles and deep fry in rice bran oil. I wonder if this passes the Dr Berg test.

So I just want to talk about like an issue and I noticed here. The doctor is true about what he says but he also has acknowledged that all this stuff makes people feel good. They take away someone's food that makes me feel good now you're going to have another problem regardless on how healthy they eat. So basically we have an emotional problem that's why we eat so we need to adjust that issue with basically like God kind of thing like living in community and then things like that.
Dr berg won’t like that I am a long term vegan. I am in my late 50s now and I have an extremely physical job. I am still going strong. My colleagues who eat the way dr berg berates are all fat slow and in pain.. every time they move they are puffing and panting . Shoving more and more carbs down their throats laughing me who is as slim as I was in my 20s and in no pain . i feel great I am not kidding you. Even my eyesight has not deteriorated.I am begging you to heed the words of what this guy saying. If I didn’t have moral reasons I would be doing “exactly “ as this guy says

In my lifetime I have rarely met someone with type 2 diabetes that actually changed their diet or lifestyle… the ones who had(2 in my lifetime) actually saw drastic changes… everyone else just stayed the same or got worse…
