The Main Event: Pulled Pork Sliders
Having triumphed in the first round, the winner chooses pulled pork sliders for their ultimate challenge against Bobby Flay. This beloved classic dish is known for its irresistible flavors and satisfying textures, making it the perfect showdown point.
Ingredients:
For the Pulled Pork:
- 2 to 3 pounds of pork shoulder (also known as pork butt)
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup barbecue sauce (homemade or store-bought)
For the Sliders:
- Slider buns (dinner rolls work well)
- Coleslaw (optional, for topping)
- Pickles (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
-
Prepare the Pork: - Mix the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, cumin, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Rub this spice mixture all over the pork shoulder, ensuring an even coating.

-
Slow Cook: - Place the seasoned pork in a slow cooker. Add the chicken broth and half of the barbecue sauce, then cover and cook on low for about 8 hours, or until the meat is tender and easily pulled apart with a fork.

-
Shred the Meat: - Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and let it rest for a few minutes. Using two forks, shred the pork into bite-sized pieces.

-
Combine with Sauce: - Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker, mixing it with the remaining barbecue sauce. Allow it to heat for another 30 minutes to absorb flavors.

-
Assemble the Sliders: - Slice the slider buns in half. Spoon generous amounts of the pulled pork onto the bottom half of each bun. Top with coleslaw and pickles if desired. Finally, place the top half of the bun over the pork.

Hahaha!! Way to go Brother Luck!!
Yay BBF!
Yay BBF!
Is that Brother from Top Chef?
I liked all of the plates. Bobby should pull back on the spice.
The loser at the final round already claimed, that his dish may taste too hot. This is the first signal, that he might lose. And he did. He was not able to win the competition, and he knew it. He also F*d up the Burbon thing…
Congratulations Brother Luck! Colorado Springs is proud!!!! ❤🎉🎉
1 chicken wing..what the hell
Shelby Marx
Luna loud
"I'm From the Hood, I love chicken wings"…….. WTF
Matt is a drunk, you can tell
YES! BOBBY GOT SMOKED!
Is funny how the judges take one small bite and proceed to evaluate the dishes, look at those sliders are almost the same as they were served, not a single bite just to proof you like or dislike it.
And this is not the first time it happens, theres a lot more episodes you can notice judges just dont try more thab few bites or any bite at all.
