Beyinin işleyişini ve gelecek dünyada nasıl bir hal alacağının anlatımı. Prof. Dr. Bahar Güntekin, 1977’de İzmir’de doğdu. 2006 yılında Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Biyofizik Anabilim Dalı’nda EEG ve beyin osilasyonları üzerine yaptığı doktora çalışmasıyla Sağlık Bilimleri Enstitüsü Doktora Birincilik Ödülü’nü aldı. İstanbul Kültür Üniversitesi’nde Beyin Dinamiği, Kognisyon ve Karmaşık Sistemler Araştırma Merkezi’nin kuruluşunda yer aldı ve müdür yardımcısı olarak görev yaptı. 2016 yılında İstanbul Medipol Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Biyofizik Anabilim Dalı’nda profesör ve anabilim dalı başkanı oldu. EEG sinyal analizi, uyarılmış EEG osilasyonları ve kognitif sinirbilim üzerine çalışmalar yapan Güntekin, çok sayıda SCI indeksli dergide hakemlik ve editörlük yapmaktadır. 2015’te TÜBA Üstün Başarılı Genç Bilim İnsanı ödülünü, 2016’da ODTÜ Parlar Vakfı Araştırma Teşvik Ödülü’nü, 2023’te ise EEG and Clinical Neuroscience Society tarafından Roy John ödülünü almıştır.
