Answer: Yes, you will survive. You always have.
One more indifferent and boring video.
FYI… John wrote Revelations, but Paul wrote most of the other books of the new testament that are named after cities that he wrote letters beautiful bay❤
He’s referring about Micheal Mosley very sad his passing 😢
More Greece? Yes please 😎 great to see another vid mate.
Gabriel, I do admire your sense of adventure and would like to do that too but I had enjoyed very much the adventures through you and forever grateful to you of course. Working here towards retirement I just hope I can do few trips like yours and will get your book for sure. Blessings from Pompano Beach Florida 💐 💐
Of course, Greece is gorgeous, but you know what I can't stand? The greed and illegality of so many beachfront vendors who take over the WHOLE beach with tents and lounge chairs that they charge a small fortune for! My dad is from Greece, and when we used to go in the 70's and 80's, there was always respect for keeping a section of the beach free of crass commercialism like this, and you could bring your own folding chair or towel. Yes, you can find beaches where there are no vendors, etc., but they're usually not as nice as the ones where they are insistent on renting you a lounge chair for many Euros!
Don't forget to put your sun protection. Great video
Thank You Gabriel 🙂❤👍Watching from NB Canada👍
Excellent hike on this Greek Island Gabriel. Thank you.
So strange that many did die hiking last year? Obviously you survived to post this😅
Are there any backpacker spots in Greece? Like old Manali used to be in the early 2000s? Or like Goa back in the day? Or is Greece all only high commercial tourism?
Wish you’d been in lindos when l visited in may , would have loved to shake your hand you’re a travel legend 😊
Beautiful. Blue sky , white buildings. I wonder why don’t see locals are walking
just wow
Thank you Gabriel 😊❤ glad you are spending time at home. Can't wait to see where you are off to next. Enjoy your time with family.
Some hikers died , really sad. Why Greek don’t develops a technology that could detect SOS call’s origin and then send helicopter with First Aid equipment to rescue lost tourists.
There is a nearby mountain range I have hiked mt rowe two hours to the top two back. Moderate hike but at one point almost twisted my ankle, on the tree roots and stones. I thought what would I do if……so looking for safer hikes now. 😂 not a spring chicken anymore.
What a fantastic hike, the scenery was absolutely gorgeous. Great tips as well. You have been to the most amazing places in the last 7 months. I have enjoyed every single bit of it. You deserve to have a good rest. Cheers. 😊❤
Every one needs a break. Enjoy some down time.
Well, you definitely had me concerned and looking to see I had missed a posting. It's unusual to go this long between videos. Glad to see that you're ok, especially after seeing the title of this video. Enjoy but stay safe.
Most scholars believe that Paul actually wrote seven of the thirteen Pauline epistles (Galatians, Romans, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, Philemon, Philippians, 1 Thessalonians), while three of the epistles in Paul's name are widely seen as pseudepigraphic (1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, and Titus).
Did not watch but clickbait headline much?
💙💙💙
I’m super excited for you and can’t wait for your next adventure video in beautiful Greece!
I am always creeped out that you will discover a dead body in one of those deserted buildings. Specially when so many have gone missing….
No need to put out a video every day. Once a week is plenty.
Grt
Greece is a wonderful chill laid back expat option, but probably not cheap enough. I'd say once needs $3000 to $5000 a month residual income or that much in the bank to pay for things to just be comfy and chill. And that's what I'd need in America too in order to be OK. Money and economics sucks all across the board for you're really squeeze on say $1400 a month which just isn't going to be enough like 20 years ago or more. Live in Greece? Heck yea, I'd go for that as a single guy. It's chill and has wonderful food. It's kinda more desert like than it might have been in ancient times as is the case with nearby countries too. Yea, you'd wanna be careful for there aren't lots of lemonade stands except in towns they might really have that as well as places to rest and chill. I don't guess there are as many small businesses and action out on the mostly deserted lands as there traditionally were for people today are like us. Like to be comfy and on internet. I'd hope it's not so snobby and conceited as Germany and other mainland European countries. I should had gone to Greece instead of mainland EU countries for I can't say I'd want to go anywhere else in Europe other than say Greece. Egypt is super cheap, but hostile and rough. Are there some parts of Greece with murderers that hate foreigners or perhaps they were criminal pissing off locals so much so they murdered them? While I'm not a criminal, I do worry someone would kill me in most countries including my own, our US of A. I really don't enjoy it, but it's home and I understand most people don't like us and will kill us if or when they can.
Be careful Gabe, as experienced as you are, there is an informal rule in Greece that you never do a hike alone in a isolated or mountanous place. Whenever you get injured or break a leg nobody can find you easily to give you help or support. Lying in the heat alone with a broken leg is not a ideal situation.
Thank you, Gabriel, for this interesting video. As a rule, I do not like long videos, because I get bored. But, your videos are fascinating, your explanations are interesting and time slips away watching them. Saint Paul visited Kos and Rhodos according to the Bible. It is Saint John who wrote the Revelations when he was sent into exile to the island of Patmos.
Gabriel has the best intros on all of YouTube, hands down 🏆
If you can't come up with any NEW and exciting destinations, maybe time to settle back down in California and retire?
Really enjoyed your 7 month trip Gabriel. Get some well earned R&R. Ever thought of making Greece your base for a few years perhaps? I follow a few channels but i think Gabriel you are my longest subscription, love the content, havent given in to the high end over editing and drone footage. Absolutely love it. Reminds me of the good old Globe Trekker era. Would be fascinating to see Crete again…. Enjoy buddy and looking forward to seeing what the rest of the year holds. 😀
Pretty good video. Greek history is pretty interesting even though I haven't been to Greece yet but I've been to countries further south and north and it's interesting how the flora and fauna change. Are you sure you don't want at least a 30 factor sunscreen?
Hi Gabriel, it was a nice little trip to Rhodes. There aren't many nice beaches there, yet many of those Greek islands have a similar terrain and landscape, with some nice beaches. Many of the people found dead or missing must be older individuals who misjudge their surroundings and are confused, then one thing leads to another, and it's too late. Nice to take a break and get some perspective on where you might head next.
i did wonder to myself where you went im glad you came back to greece before your headed back home an action packed 7 months indeed time to return home unwind relax its been epic travels indeed gabriel. sometimes we need time for ourselves
You are The Man as regards travel, but you spend an F-ton of money on food and drink.
Gabriel, do the Camino de Santiago. You are an experienced trekker and hiker and that trek, which i believe can take 4 to 6 weeks, would be a great YouTube series where you could document the trek from start to finish, daily. It would, I'm certain, garner a ton of views.
35:45 I think it's really time for you to come home after 7 months and get some rest. Indeed, now that I rewind your videos, you've been on the road since December 2024, Canada, Mexico, Hawaii, French Polynesia, New Zealand, Philippines, Taiwan, India, Nepal, Thailand, Emirates, Egypt, Cyprus, Greece, Poland, Slovakia, and Greece again… Take a break, man…🤠
Now you travel Greece for attention 🤡🤡
Your slovak blogs where boring af and i knew you did this for attention,
Unfortunately you got attention 😒🙄
Cuz slovak articles are brainless.
I wstched your Greece travel blog and it was boring trash.
Retire old man.
Good riddance gabriel traveler aka Gabriel morris aka gabriel old man 😘
The videos have been delayed because I decided to finish up my seven month trip around the world and fly back to Canada, where I picked up my car in Calgary and drove down to California to visit family and take a break from traveling for a while. But there are still several more videos coming of Greece. Those videos might also be delayed a little since I've been busy with various things. I mentioned at the very end of this video that I was considering wrapping things up and heading home, and will explain my upcoming plans further in the next few videos. Correction: at 30:10 I confused Saint Paul and Saint John. Saint John wrote the Book of Revelation while on the Greek island of Patmos. Saint Paul was another apostle who lived in the first century AD and wrote a number of books in the New Testament.
