I have never seen carrots added to marinara sauce.. Not sure I would like that..
If you precooked the seafood for the lasagna then after assembling you cooked it for an additional 45 minutes wouldn't the seafood be overcooked and chewy and just yuck

I must’ve been spoiled in the 70s. My mother’s old sifter, which I still have, had both the turning handle and the hand grip to sift things. It is still in a paper bag in the pantry, although she has been gone almost a decade. Some things are just meant to be kept.
