Eating Thai Food With Mark Wiens at Phed Mark!
Join me in an extraordinary culinary journey through the vibrant streets of Bangkok, Thailand, alongside the legendary Mark Wiens (@MarkWiens), the true godfather of food travel! In this video, we dive deep into the hidden gems of Thai street food and immerse ourselves in the local culture like never before.
Our adventure kicks off at Mark’s renowned restaurant, Phed Mark, where we indulge in his famed pad prik krapow, featuring that irresistible runny yolk. But that’s just the beginning! We’ll also savor next-level pad thai, spicy Thai noodles, and a myriad of authentic street eats that showcase the essence of Bangkok’s food scene.
However, this experience goes beyond just the food. We hop on the colorful Bangkok ferries, experience a rejuvenating Thai massage, and engage in heartfelt conversations with locals. Throughout our journey, Mark shares personal stories that he’s never revealed on camera, providing a glimpse into his life that is raw, unscripted, and filled with flavor.
Whether you’re a fan of spicy Thai cuisine, interested in iconic spots around Bangkok, or simply want to see behind-the-scenes moments with your favorite creators, this video is the ultimate food tour in Thailand. Get ready to discover Bangkok like never before!

We have lots of Tofu in Nigeria (Awara) which is a big staple in Northern Nigeria and it’s made from soya beans. The tofu in Bangkok is it made from soy beans as well?
Hopefully in my journey of exploring different food culture and markets, I get to visit Mark Weins restaurant one day, so help me God.
Thanks again, David. Truly enjoyed this. Now I’m so hungry. I better go eat breakfast. Thanks for sharing.😋☺️
This place is completely overrated and saying the best Kaprao in Thailand and even the world is complete nonsense
Hi David 😊 I haven’t had the chance to try any Thai food yet, but after watching your video, I felt so inspired! The way you described and enjoyed every bite made it all look so flavorful and comforting. I’ll definitely start looking for a good Thai restaurant here in Nagoya soon. Thank you for sharing your food experiences with so much passion—it really makes a difference and encourages people like me to explore new tastes.
