Enjoyable light entertainment , but I do wonder that they could make such a comedy less than 15 years after the war ended. We had to wait another decade before we got Hogan's Heroes. Too bad it wasn't the girl's bum we saw so much of !
Thank you for sharing this movie.

Thank you.
Thanks
Later, Dennis went to Hollywood an' founded..cough..The Dennis Price is Right Show..true story, kinda..
George Cole's character really got on my nerves – he was clumsy beyond words, kept doing completely stupid things and letting the cat out of the bag. Having sex in the bushes with the girl just proved that script writers and directors of films are only interested in their manic ideas of how life works! The German officer spoke better English than most of the English.
A Hammer film without Peter Cushing or Christopher Lee???
Say it ain't so
this movie makes war seem almost funny, too bad people have to die… or is that funny too?
45.34 im off to the kitchen for cheese on toast mug of tea
I say…. Is this a movie about a bunch of limeys?
I see how how on earth did we , the British win the war keeps coming up in the comments.
I think that's the whole point. The Japanese have the kamikaze.
The Germans( God help them)have the SS and the death camps, and the Brits have slapstick and farce. The very reason the German TV stations show
' dinner for one '
every year is because it is what it is, a totally ridiculous British farce.
Pity it took two world wars for them to catch up.
This is like a documentary of much of the Britsh war effort, its a wonder that we ever won any battle. Also it seems that given half a chance the soldiers on opposing sides became friends. My father told me several accounts of meeting in noman's land to play football, share food and sing.
The beauty of military comedy is that its funny because it's based on reality, lol.
This is the best British comedy movie . The beach scene was hilarious ! 😁😁😁😁😁
Already laughing at Flash Harry.
As soon as I heard that designation, 'Force X', I just knew that the level of sophistication in this movie was going to be unmatched. 🤭
Just too silly to watch!
