Drive-In is a nostalgic throwback to the 1980s, taking place on a hot summer night in Texas at a local drive-in theatre. The film follows the intertwining stories of various characters, from the town’s most attractive girl, Glowie, played by Lisa Lemole, to the socially inept Orville, portrayed by Glenn Morshower.
Billy Milliken stars as the local bad boy, Enoch, who sets his sights on Glowie while she tries to navigate his advances and pursue a romance with Orville. Meanwhile, Gordon Hurst plays bungling stick-up man Will Henry, whose attempted robberies of the drive-in repeatedly fail to go according to plan.
As tensions rise between rival gangs over territorial disputes, the drive-in becomes a hotbed of drama, romance, and comedic mishaps. Directed by an unknown filmmaker and featuring a cast of lesser-known actors, Drive-In delivers an entertaining and lighthearted look at small-town Americana in the 1980s. With a mix of humor, romance, and action, Drive-In offers a fun and engaging viewing experience for fans of classic coming-of-age films.

I made it 10 minutes in. The music made me puke…
The GOOD old days. You could be with the one you LOVED, with just the right amount of privacy.
We had a drive-in in our town. It was great on Wednesday nights. It was called buck night get a carload of people for 1 dollar. Dust till dawn, on Friday and Saturday nights . Two years before they closed the Drive in in 1985 in our town, they started playing XXX movies after midnight.
People should know that first and oldest Drive-In movie theater is actually in Germany closed to city Frankfurt plus that's still open…😎👌
Lovely movie
The movie in the movie. Disaster '76. Wow.
So this is what kids were doing in Texas in the 70s. Different music and language, but the drive-in was the place to hang. Heck, sometimes you even watched the movie! 😉. I cleaned up trash @ our local drive-in on weekends, saw R-rated movies i wasn't supposed to see. Last Tango in Paris was a night off..i was only 15

Opening song stole my heart
Love ❤️ my Malibu ..I didn’t have a convertible though, that would’ve been cool as hell 😂
Twenty minutes up the street from us is a Drive-in that we still frequent often. Double features. Two screens. Snack bar. Playground for the kids. Just like it was when I was a kid in the 70's. Just tune your car stereo to the right station rather than the old horrible speakers. We have another Drive-in about an hour away. We still have Mayberry ice cream shops and a drug store with a lunch counter and a working soda fountain. My kids lost their minds when they tasted a real Coca Cola. Some things should never go out of fashion because they were just better…
LOVE THE CARS WAS 11 YEARS OLD THEN
Good movie 😎
In the mid 70’s, we kids went to the drive-in with Mom and Dad. Our mom would pop popcorn on the stove, and put it in a big brown grocery bag with lots of salt and butter. She’d make a big plate of cold cuts, pickles, and cheese, and a big jar of Kool-aid or iced tea. They’d make us duck down in the back seat during the dirty or scary parts of the movie. 😄🎥🤩✨✨✨Good times. ❤️
This is a fantastic film
