In a recent announcement by Elon Musk, Tesla is forging ahead with the Model 2 Redwood project, with ambitious plans to produce 3 million affordable electric vehicles by 2025. Priced at just $25,000, the 2025 Tesla Model 2 is designed to make EVs more accessible to the general public. Set to be unveiled at the upcoming Tesla Robotaxi event on October 10th, the Model 2 Redwood promises to revolutionize the market with its innovative design, cutting-edge battery technology, and mass production capabilities.
One of the most striking aspects of the Model 2 is its futuristic exterior design, featuring a teardrop shape that enhances aerodynamic efficiency. Inspired by the Aptera three-wheeler, this design minimizes rolling resistance and drag coefficient, paving the way for enhanced efficiency and extended range. With the potential inclusion of unique features like gullwing doors and fender skirts, the Model 2 is poised to push the boundaries of traditional automotive design and performance.
Moreover, Tesla is exploring a simplified two-door configuration for the Model 2, drawing inspiration from Volkswagen’s XL1 concept. This innovative approach could result in a more cost-effective and streamlined vehicle, offering impressive storage capacity and range. By integrating creative design elements and unconventional features, Tesla is setting the stage for a truly groundbreaking electric vehicle that embodies the company’s commitment to innovation and sustainability.
As we eagerly anticipate the launch of the Tesla Model 2 Redwood, it’s clear that the future of affordable EVs is looking brighter than ever. Stay tuned for more updates on this revolutionary vehicle as Tesla continues to push the boundaries of automotive technology and mass production capabilities. Enough Where is the car ?.
By broadcasting Tesla's cost cutting techniques, it allows Chinese competitors to copy them and bring down their costs. Tesla needs to observe a little secrecy

The car will not even come close to that rendering .
It will not be released in 2025, maybe towards the end of 2026, and it will not cost 25K…more like 35K. And the range will be less than 250 miles. And charging from 10 -80 % will take more than 30 min.
Dual motor slightly more expensive…right or what pls😊
I'd like to have facial recognition to start and drive the vehicle to prevent theft. Tesla offers a PIN to start, but that's old school. Need facial recognition. They already have cameras looking at your face. Come on Tesla.

2 definitely!
Science have proven sleek designs will create more fluidity, range because of less drag.
But adding that funny looking cover at the rear wheel will deter most people or boomer like thinking to switch from ICE cars to even trying electric cars.
If teslas plan to convince everyone to make a switch from old tech ICE cars to electric, they have to stay close to conventional looking cars plus doesn’t Tesla want to keep the prices low??? Then don’t add that rear cover just to have less drag
We don’t buy electric cars to go far away anyways.
We buy it to make life convenient
Ie. plugging the car when u reach home
Never pass buy any petrol stations coz ur fully charged.
Not using fossil fuels etc etc.

Speculation is more Hype. Get the product to market. What if culture is annoying.
No fender skirts.
Will the Model 2 qualify for the $7,500 Federal ITC, hence yeilding a $17,500 final price? Then could you subract a State incntive to that and they're pracically giving way the Model 2?
The Civic has always been a safe bet, but the Redwood could be the next big thing.
I think the Redwood will win over a lot of people with its tech features alone.
I’m looking forward to comparing the Redwood’s performance to the Civic’s solid reputation.
Tesla’s push for innovation might finally give it the edge over more traditional cars like the Civic.
The Civic has always been dependable, but Tesla’s Redwood sounds like it could redefine the segment.
