Entering Africa’s Strangest Country: A Journey Through Eritrea
In the latest adventure, travel vlogger Drew Binsky takes us on an unforgettable journey into Eritrea, a country often overlooked yet steeped in unique charm and history. Binsky passionately shares how the country has secured a spot in his personal top five favorite African nations, promising a captivating experience unlike any other.
Behind the scenes, Drew credits Young Pioneer Tours for their invaluable assistance in organizing his trip, showcasing the ease of navigating visas, local guides, and filming permissions in this off-the-beaten-path destination. Eritrea is often referred to as a living hell on Earth due to its oppressive government. The dictatorial regime in this country is notorious for its severe human rights abuses, treating its citizens inhumanely and exploiting their labor. Many people have described the government's actions as predatory, likening it to a ruler that 'feeds on' the suffering of its own people.
I have been watching you for a long time and your creativity still attracts attention. Thank you for your talent!🎋🎩🍇

Great video! But Christianity in Eritrea is definitely NOT a result of Italian influence (as you implied at 2:10). Eritrea began its Christianization in the 4th century way before Italy and most of Europe
Ok now I really want to visit Eritrea. Looks beautiful. How long does it take to get allowed in and are there any other countries in the area that you recommend I visit?
Love you drew !!
What a cool video!
Fun fact: Christianity in Eritrea predates Christianity in most of Europe
It’s not strange it’s beautiful
5:00 not too surprising considering its a stage 2 country
W video as always
It was not the Italians that introduced Christianity to Eritrea. Eritrea, was the first African Christian country in the world having officially adopted Christianity as the state religion in the 4th century and Christianity is the oldest world religion practiced in the country.
