nice. thanks
Maybe you are missing out with sponsorships. You are a travel channel. My brother had a friend with one of the hotel chains and we got employee discounts on a recent trip thru Europe.
I am a long-time subscriber and I love your work. I don't expect you to remain the same over the years. We all change. I appreciate your consistency, though, which hasn't changed. Judging from the comments, for us, your long-time subscribers, your hard work is important since it made you a part of our lives. Travel as you like, feel free to go anywhere you want. Thanks for all those years.
I have a question…. If you had to pick 1 Country you had to live in for the rest of your life (besides the U.S.A.) What Country would you pick?
Travel cheques 😁
Question: Can you do a travel bag video? Showing what you pack for long trips ? Is it carry on or do you check in bags for long flights ?
Also, Banks with no fees are a no brainer – im surprised they even exist! They are great.
Cheers
😊❤🇧🇦🗻🏔⛰
Definitely need to visit Cappadocia. Magic.
It's very simple: You travel, I watch!
Get a Revolut card. No atm or bank fee and you can hold money in many diferent currencies.
As with some of the other comments I’m a subscriber 8 years Gabe since my son told me about you…..love your travels
I remember the Baku bus ticket video.
The graffiti on some walls, don't they have cameras to catch those simpleminded vandals, prosecute them?
🙂❤👍
Gabriel at 4:41 that one seems to be a Greek christian orthodox church, maybe (deliberately?) plastered! Cappadocia is full of Greek christian orthodox churches because Greeks used to live in that area for thousands of years. The town of Goreme i.e. was called Korema in the Greek-Byzantine era, before the Ottoman Turks invaded it and occupied it..
"Kara and Nate" (another travel youtube channel) have some great videos on how best to rack up and use points. They get a lot of free flights, upgrades, and/or lounge access with points.
I love your channel and watch every episode. Each youtube traveler has their own thing, some I like, and some I don't. You are my favorite and for totally different reasons Adam The Woo is second. I believe it's the laid back, no controversy style. Keep it up Gabe.
great video, thank you for responding to my comments sometimes . saludos
Good content; great video – see ya in India😅
Hi Gabriel,
Not sure if this would help you, but from the UK, I use either Chase or Starling bank cards while travelling, obviously Chase is an American bank also in the UK. Both these cards have zero fees for withdrawls from any bank, anywhere. As you point out, ya still got to look out for the sneaky ATM fees !!
Wow what a meal enough for 2 or 3 hungry people.
👍👍👍
after watching your videos youve inspired me to travel. I quit my job, sold my possessions and started travelling full time, its the vest decision ive ever made. I travel almost identical to the way you do, budget-wise anyways. I just wanted to thank you for making my life much more pleasurable.
I used to work in Travel Industry doing Visa and Passport transactions for customers with little time to do it on their own. Your Channel is Great for Travel Enthusiasts 🎉🎉🎉 Keep up the great Job Gabriel 👏🏻
Hey Gabriel … I'm curious as to how you keep your flight costs low as it appears you book one way flights, which are much more expensive than return flights.
Be careful with Rome2Rio. A few weeks ago. I was trying to go from Venice to Bologna. Train & bus costs were accurate , but it said taxi was cheapest @ less than $20. Took train after taxi driver quoted over $200, since when will a 2 hour taxi ride be only $20.!!! Check it out.
Have you ever sailed? Seems like an amazing way to travel
"Why do I travel the way I do", hahahaha, to get away from people who think there is a certain way to live your life. That's for sure. Freedom and adventure, for all!
Hello, regarding the transport card machines in Baku, they have warnings indicating that they don't give back change.
You could have also sold it to locals.
Hi Gabe . Im going there next year. I quite like wandering around like youself. I hear bad things about dogs over there in Cappadocia. Is this true or nothing to be worried about?
To get break a big money bill I buy a low cost item like a candy bar. I did similar when my bus was leaving in a few minutes.
I have watched your channel for years and just love it! No matter what we do in life, some people will always complain. Just please yourself and keep up the good work!
i would recommend the capital one venture card for those with good credit (there are better cards for travel but require excellent credit) and there are 3 major airline alliances you can get points from that cover around 60 total airlines. Star alliance, sky and one world. So signing up with just the 3 will cover you for almost any airline. With that said, it takes many miles of travel for like free round trip tickets or big upgrades. You will however have some perks, like lounges. Capital one cards also give many perks with airlines.
I arrive early to get through the tunnel to airport that rarely has accidents blocking tunnel. Alternate route takes many hours
