The acoustics of this theater are more than superb. At 33:29, a mother can be heard telling her child, "Vangeli come here " without speaking in a loud way.I would say the opposite.
Anyway, Gabriel glad to see that you followed a few of my suggestions on your trip!
Thank you for this beautiful area and telling its history.
I would like to see a video, Gabriel, of you entailing how much YouTube pays you each month for your content, since this is your main line of work, if you wish to reveal. You uploaded a video approximating what you make awhile ago, however no specific numbers and totals were given.
Was there years ago, definitely not a bad place to hang out. Lots to do within a 1 hour or so drive (Corinth, Epidauros, Argos, Mycenae, etc). Ran the steps up to the fort a couple times ~9 minutes if I remember correctly. PS – You will enjoy Syracuse, Catania, and Taormina. Be sure to do the walk/hike up to Castelmola (I think that's the place).
Nafplion is awesome but lacking in infrastructure. Therefore long term, there may be better options
Gabriel when you gonna visit Creta?
Kalamata is beautiful city.
What did you eat at the end of this video and how much was your good looking meal, please?
Gabriel,In 3,4 miles W, NW of Nafplio is the Pyramid of Elliniko.
Nice video cool to see fans while shooting
It's a small world!
I loved Volos and surrounding villages in the Pelion mts. Makrinitsa and zagora etc.
Nafplio is the best
1:54 Car parked right on the crosswalk 😆 Must be a different type of town
When you went to Ioannina you didn't even go to the lakeside, so interesting you mention it because you didn't even see the bare minimum of that city. One of your sloppiest, most rushed, and overall worst videos actually. Same with Kastoria.
Very nice and beautiful video. Stayed in a Hotel at 8:28 Epoch House for my Birthday this March. It was wonderful. Before go, I watched everything that Gabriel had about Greece at that moment, didn't find Peloponnese, that's because we were there 2 months apart 🙂
More gorgeous churches and landscapes, and views of the sea in Greece! Nafplio looked more busy than any of the other towns Gabriels has visited so far!
I wonder what that was he had on his plate at the end of the video? It didn't look like anything I recognize.
How fun to meet not just one, but two subscribers!
Interesting point you made that the Greeks didn''t commit atrocities in their theaters like the Romans did.' They focused on theater and not feeding Christians to the lions..Neighboring countries but very different back then.
We spent 4 days in Napflion earlier this year and absolutely loved it. Totally underrated.
I was sure that Nafplio would become your favourite city in Greece. I’m surprised that you hadn’t already visited this gem of a city.
I knew it, you have to see Nafplion 🥰🥰🥰
Other beautiful towns/ cities you could consider are Chania, Rethymnon, Ermoupoli, Kavala, Kastoria, Nafpaktos. Please give another chance to Thessaloniki. It has a stunning waterfront with the view of Olympus mountain and the most beautiful sunsets, the Eptapyrgion fortress, the most impressive square in Greece, Aristotelous square, an old town that is located upphill and a great local cuisine.
Florina, Kastoria, Xanthi, Veroia, Arta, Karpenisi, Ioannina, Drama, Vathy on the island of Samos and others are what I would consider beautiul cities. And there are many others that I would consider nice and enjoyable but not necessarily beautiful like Patra, Volos, and Thessaloniki. Athens is a special case cause it's so big, it has the historical centre, it has seaside areas, and it has some upscale areas in the north that are genuiely stunning.
You should go to Monatolda ?😎
Excellent Job GM… Cheers, nice shirt.
Galaxidi is another pretty town off the beaten path. It is a bit smaller than Nafplio and not as touristry. Worth exploring the area in one of your next trips.
I was born and raised in Sweden, but I live happily in Athens, next to a school. How noisy the Greek schoolchildren are never stops to amuse me! Our teachers would have multiple heart attacks if we produced half the amount of dBs!
A really good video . Very interesting. I love visiting Salamis in Cyprus. I enjoy taking my visitors . I have never been to the Peloponnese.
Many people use Nafplio as a base for day trips all around: Mycenae, Epidaurus, Spetses island nearby.
Another WOW!!! These Greece videos have been awesome… thank you so much for sharing!!! 💙🤍💙
THANK YOU, Gabriel! 😍
It was such a lovely surprise meeting you by chance in Nafplion. I’m truly touched by your support and the mention in your video—it means a lot! Sending warmest greetings from Athens! ☀
