Great video but that food is crazy expensive
1) The story of how you met Daryl is typical of how some coincidences were just meant to occur! Hawai’i has such a rich Japanese connection & history.
The plantation homes built for the sugar cane workers tend to be crappy (not rich) though.
Oh and interestingly enough, Japanese people raised in Japan tell me the food that Japanese Hawaiians eat is not what they eat in Japan. They do not have Saimin in Japan at all, for example nor is spam anything on any menu over in Japan either.
Good thing too because the damn stuff is almost radioactive! 😂
2) Summer and Winter weathers vary a lot from Isle to Isle in HI. usually by not more than 10 degrees in terms of temperature but more so in terms of the frequency of rainy and cloudy days although O’ahu does see highs of near 100F in the Summer. Winters can feel more humid due to all the wet and rain on Kaua’i and I am not sure when the trades kick up but when I have felt them, they are like air conditioners.
Waves are bigger on north and west facing coasts in the Winter and smaller on the Southern ones, especially if you are on O’ahu. In Summers the opposite is true.
3) Currents are strong everywhere in HI which is known as the drowning capital of the world! 😮
4) Tourists mess with Monk Seals and Turtles. They cannot read, or follow directions or they do not care about wildlife.
I hate seeing them act that way because they give the rest of we tourists a bad name.
5) Chickens, which we call roosters stateside, are everywhere on Kaua’i.
And, they aren’t going anywhere either!
When I was stationed on Oahu in the Coast Guard, back in the 70's, my wife worked at Sears in Ala Moana Center (next to Waikiki). We were both blown away when they put winter coats out for sale…..but as you mentioned…the slight less temperature, combined with some rain can make you feel cold even in Hawaii…although to us, not cold enough for a winter coat (being from Colorado)
😎😎😎
Water clarity looks amazing
Amazing beach, it looks so clean and hardly any people, I would definitely choose Hawaii over Florida for a vacation ( sorry if I offended anyone)
You just left Mexico. My wife loves to swim with the dolphins. In Hawaii, there were all sorts of rules, don't touch the dalphin, what type of sunscreen you could wear, etc….. However, in Mexico, when it came to swimming with the dalphinx, it was every dolphin for himself! No rules… just buy the ticket! LOL! You could poke the dolphin in the eye… no problem in Mexico!
Let's see what's around the corner…
you need to go to Costa Rica. It looks almost the same as where you are and much cheaper. I rented a house at the beach for $800 a month in Tamarindo. Not as cheap as it used to be but still cheaper than Hawaii.
As a Tropicana / Naked juice sales rep…. I approve of your smoothie purchase! Mighty Mango is number 2 behind Green Machine in popularity
BOYCOTT WARmerica Gabe. Cut all ties…
Wow you sure are taking your chances they're hitchhiking you know Jeffrey Dahmer do not discriminate against men or women
How many miles/KM do you average a day?
That Daryl episode was pure love Aloha dude!🎉
Great water clarity ✅️

Hi Gabriel! I’ll be in Kauai this June and will be staying in Princeville. Do you have any tips or cool places to check out in Princeville? Thank you! Keep traveling!
Have you been to Easter Island?
Was wondering if you’ve ever visited Puerto Rico on your travels, Gabe? El Yunque National Park has some great hiking and if you love beaches you will be surrounded by them as well as amazing surfing on the west coast. Rincon is really awesome. Cheaper than Hawaii (though not cheap these days), and English is spoken all over the island. Only issue is it’s a pain to reach from the US West Coast but an awesome place to see. Food for thought. Safe travels for 2025! 🎉
You may believe t be rich but you live like a billionaire
I spent way too much time there for work, most I truly tried to get out of lol, over a 20 year period, Its not a paradise too me.
The fresh water ponds waterfalls and natural slides to swim in are the greatest hidden treasures of the Garden Isle.
Say hello to sponge bob square pants for me if you see him please thanks.
Sea Turtle tracks at 19:33?
The place where he is shopping is the most expensive grocery store on the island!
That is what she said 😂😂😂😂 regarding to your fish calculator 😂😂😂
Beautiful beach there Gabriel. The water is so clear! We have many similar beaches in Australia… the West Coast Nth and Sth of Perth. In Sth Australia, ( west coast). No crocs!
Problem with USA travel now is every city started charging $35 per DAY resort fees. I'm in bali paying $28 per night in 4 star hotel..these usa hotels are biggest scammers
Wow man! You were a total hippy! 607,000 subscribers. You must be raking it in now.
The beach was 👌
Hi Gabe, not watched you for a while. It looks lovely but water would be a bit too choppy for me! Have fun.
How are you supposed to raise a family in Hawaii?? 💴 So expensive 😮
If anyone is wondering why a one bedroom apartment in Hawaii cost me only $76 a night, I explained in the last video:
