Raw beef and onions on Rye??😅❤🙏✌🍻🥠
Gabe you have to go for Beef Noodle soup. It’s what Taiwan is probably known for best.
Hi Gabriel, wow, sometimes having too many choices can be overwhelming. When you went through the market area during the day, there was no place to sit where you could relax and eat. At night, there were places to sit, but they were overcrowded. I'm sure most people there are used to that. The number of places to eat and shop seems endless, and it seems normal, not a special event or occasion, just a regular routine.
Gabe- do yourself a favor & discover the excellent music of THE WATERBOYS. You are welcome
That green stuff in those savoury snacks might have been pumpkin seeds n the black stuff looked like chia seeds
Friday 2/28 is a national holiday here in Taiwan called “228 Peace Memorial Day”
Taipei hotel room is more expensive than HK
2/28 is a national holiday, which is one of the reasons why it's so crowded, and why hotels are booked solid, especially the hot spring hotels which are very popular in the wintertime.
The reason some hotels have a late check-in time is because they have hourly day-use rates for… you know.
The Rainbow Bridge is very colorful at night.
Great video. Hope you enjoyed the crazy night market scene.
Really like all the markets and that temple was so interesting!
I really liked Taipei. Stayed there two times in 2009 when Taipei 101 was the tallest building in the world 🙂 🙂
The long white vegetable with rough surface texture is “bitter melon”. “Danshui” means “fresh water”.
👍
Chinese Taipei/Taiwan just qualified for the World Baseball Classic! They also just won the Premier 12 tournament!
It's my favorite place on earth, conflicted between Taipei or Tokyo…
18:36 Black sesame seeds, possibly.
Four Calendar Cafe!I played it today too…sublime album.
Addiction Aquatic Development in Taipei have very good eats…
🙂💙👍Thank You Gabriel👍
Good vid brother 🤙🏼💯 looks like a street food paradise
? Hey Gabe, ever been to Guam? Maybe a good stop on the return?
I ate a black sandwich on the plan leaving Tiawan. my stool was so black afterwards, I thought I needed to see a doctor. They must put a lot of die in their bread.
Great coverage of Taiwan 🇹🇼
Thank you 🙏🏾
Looks like Pumpkin Seeds.
Black Sesame Seeds
Bitter melon(smaller bumpy one) and a winter melon(huge one). I'd stay away from the bitter melon. It got that name for a reason. When in Taiwan, you must do the stinky tofu challenge!🤢 When you smell something rank, head toward it and order the tofu.😂 Asians must not have a good sense of smell.😂
Black sesame, that's what the seed looks like before processing to white sesame. The brown stuff is probably bean paste, and the green is probably the green beans or pumpkin seed.
I've heard Taiwanese foot massage is a revelation. I'd definitely try it.
"Best Hotel"…..LOL😅
