Republicans nra fault ban guns now
So 10% do sell “crime guns?” Sounds like a pretty high ratio
It is interesting how you go after the gun dealers but at the end of the day, the bad guys will still get guns. Your words 90% of the gun dealers do a good job. Or is this really about the latest school shooting and holding parents accountable.
It should be 💯 %
Happy Friday to you Iryna MARCHak 12/20/2024
Where's the full segment? This 1 minute tease is BS.

Thank you very much!..
I don't hear any effort to fix the problem yet.
Unless Smith & Wesson have a store in Mexico That's Funny they have no Jurisdiction
Comparing the amount of federally licensed firearms dealers in the United States to the number of post offices in the United States in one sentence is stupid. When you think about the fact that the US Post Office lost $9.4 Billion dollars in 2024 and lost $6.3 Billion dollars in 2023, the question we should be asking is why do we have so many post offices in the United States? Maybe Elon Musk and DOGE need to look into this.
“90% of gun dealers sell zero crime guns”…. But that means 10% of gun dealers do and that’s pretty damn bad.
I bet CBS News wasn’t upset with Obama and Holder’s gun running across the border since they are liberals.
Curiously there was no mention of the Fast and Furious guns Eric Holder authorized released to a mismanaged undercover operation during the Obama administration. The guns were reportedly used by the drug cartels. Why was this not disclosed in the 60 minutes segment?
The funny thing is this is very similar to the opioid epidemic
the "Iron River"? you mean like how the ATF has been funneling firearms into Mexico since Obama and Shrub?
.
the ATF? the agency that murders Americans?
.
American companies have a civil liability? aren't the FEDS in possession of ALL of this information?
IF there is evidence of straw purchasing going on
THEN it is a dereliction of ATF's most basic functions that THEY have not put a stop to it. of course, there are never any consequences for bureaucrats failing to fulfill even minimal responsibilities.
.
i do like opening up the whole question of suing for "civil liability" though. because it's clear that MEXICO has civil liability for escorting illegal alien caravans across the length of their country and also have civil liability for large portions of the drug trade and human trafficking.
90% sell zero crime guns, if they are sell guns illegally they would be shut down and in jail as the man said.
So 7500 gun stores are selling "crime guns"?
Does 60 Minutes really think cartels go up to Texas and say…I’ll take 100 of your finest Ar-15s? The cartels have billions of dollars, they traffic in illegal activities every minute of every day. Is 60 minutes really so ignorant to believe that the cartels don’t make their own weapons? When leftist news starts seeing people of color as equals and not victims maybe then they’ll understand that they are just as capable of making guns just like the gringos from up North do. It’s a gun, been around for 400 years, it’s not really that complicated to make and the ones I’ve seen coming out of Mexico are of very high quality.
So 60 minute's of b.s. you're not going to report how the cartels procured most of their guns, rifles and ammo….you can't seem to recall fast and furious obumas genius plan that sold an immense amount of weapons directly to various cartels. I wonder if you conveniently forgot.💩
How about Mexico patrol their border better so they can find the people responsible for bring in the guns. Once again it’s the law abiding citizens in trouble instead of the criminals.
so 60 minutes why did you not ask him should the USA sue Mexico for all the deaths from their drugs??? guns do not make or smuggle drugs Mexicans do.
seems 60 minutes neglected operation fast & furious between 2006 and 2011 in the Tucson and Phoenix area where the ATF "purposely allowed licensed firearms dealers to sell weapons to illegal straw buyers. The ATF monitored the sale of about 2,000 firearms, of which only 710 were recovered. Guns tracked by the ATF have been found at crime scenes on both sides of the Mexico–United States border, including the scene where United States Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was killed in December 2010. According to Humberto Benítez Treviño, former Mexican Attorney General and chair of the justice committee in the Chamber of Deputies, related firearms have been found at numerous crime scenes in Mexico where at least 150 Mexican civilians were maimed or killed. At Holder's request, President Barack Obama had invoked executive privilege for the first time in his presidency in order to withhold documents that "were not generated in the course of the conduct of Fast and Furious." In 2016, a federal court ruled that the records in question were not covered by privilege a House lawsuit to try to recover the records was settled and the matter dropped in April 2019, after control of the House had shifted to Democrats.
Mexico must be short on their finances to launch a stupid law suit about guns, when their country is one of the biggest problems but yet does pretty much nothing to help. I think I smell greed when it comes to Mexico…
Some of my favorite ammo is imported from Mexico… Aguila. I use Aguila Super Colibri 22LR because it's super quiet subsonic ammo, no need for a silencer.
