Fathom’s Big Screen Classic Series for 2025 will feature anniversary celebrations honoring films including “Clueless,” “Sunset Boulevard” and “The Sound of Music.” Fathom Entertainment CEO Ray Nutt unveiled the lineup at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, and added that each film will screen with a special introduction from film critic and historian Leonard Maltin. The 2025 Big Screen Classic series will mark Leonard Martin’s third year providing exclusive introductions for the theatrical screening series.
“The appeal of classic and timeless films endures and is a bedrock element of our content offerings,” said Nutt. “Fathom is so very pleased with this year’s slate of classic film offerings and is delighted to continue our association with Leonard Maltin to cast a spotlight on these cinematic treasures.”
The full 2025 Fathom Big Screen Classic lineup includes six films: “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade” June 14-15 and 18, “Clueless” June 29 and 30, “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” July 13 and 16, “Sunset Boulevard” August 3 and 4, “The Sound of Music” September 13, 14 and 17 and “Rocky IV” November 5 and 9.
Four of the six featured films are anniversary screenings: celebrating the 30th for “Clueless,” the 50th for “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest,” the 60th for “The Sound of Music” and the 75th for “Sunset Boulevard.” The “Rocky IV” screenings will feature the ‘Ultimate Director’s Cut.’
