FUN FACTS: beside her victory, France Gall went through such a bad situations during the Eurovision week. First of all, the orchestra booed her when she rehearsed because the musicians didn't liked her song, her boyfriend broke up with her and on top of everything it's rumored that Kathy Kirby who represented United Kingodm and finished in 2nd place went in France's wardarobe and slapped her in the face. Also, France never performed her Eurovision song after she found out about the double meaning of Serge Gainsbourg's lyrics. She was only 17 when she took part at Eurovision!

France Gall was a big hit in Germany in the late 1960s and early 70s.
Der Computer Nr 3, Zwei Apfelsinen im Haar (sung in German) were some of her greatest hits east of the Rhine.

This song sounds a lot like the Wedding Peach intro song (it's an anime series from 1995).😮 I just googled it and apparently the intro song is actually based on "Poupée de cire, poupée de son"! Interesting.😊
