Rescuers are working tirelessly to search for survivors across Florida in the aftermath of Hurricane Milton, which left more than three million people without power. As the state begins the long process of recovery, President Biden is pushing Congress to return before the election to pass additional disaster relief funding.
The devastation caused by Hurricane Milton is evident as rescue teams comb through affected areas, looking for anyone in need of assistance. With power outages affecting millions, residents are facing challenges in accessing basic necessities and communication.
In the midst of the crisis, President Biden is urging Congress to act quickly in providing much-needed aid to the affected communities. The push for more disaster relief funding comes as Florida works to rebuild and recover from the destruction left in the wake of Hurricane Milton.
As the situation continues to unfold, it is clear that the road to recovery will be long and difficult. The resilience of the people of Florida will be put to the test as they work together to overcome the challenges that lie ahead.

Regarding DISASTER responses, 4 years ago, when Trump was president, we couldn't find toilet paper and were using refrigerated trucks as morgues. We are much BETTER now than 4 years ago. … I'm voting BLUE.💙
Hello NBC, Alex from Philippines. My daughter lives in Mangrove Well rd in Sun City Center, by any chance, can this place be visited by NBC crews and finds out what happening in that area? All we see and watched are happened in coastal area. Just want some idea if that place has potential damages as well? Thank you (Alex)
