Beautiful scenery, but how do you walk in on a Stoney mountains in those shoes when there falling apart 😆
Beautiful country 😊
Polish language is very difficult, like all slavic languages and, as a Polish friend told me, just when you think you are finally "gettin' it", wham! there is an exception to the rule…
When you hear it, there are many ch, sh and ssh sounds, and those looong words with many consonants, strange letters and no vowels, can be intimidating, especially in small towns where many people don't speak English.
As you say,
w sounds like v… and
j sounds like i…
ł is not an L and normally sounds like a u…
Think of Pope JP II, his last name was Wojtyła… and pronounced like Voitiua…
If you can, while still in the Tatras go to Morskie Oko, the "Sea Eye".
This is gorgeous. Makes me want to go hiking there. However, are there any sort of bathrooms on any of these trails?
WOW… very beautiful country!!! 😎💙✌
Beautiful ! 😊❤🇧🇦🗻🏔⛰
I think I'm you are on the border Poland -slovakia
did you notice the markers with letdwrs,p and s
Nice job Gabe. I think 20 to 25 minutes is a good length for your videos.
Thank you for your interesting videos from Zakopane. A beautiful place ! Pay attention to your shoes. The left one is in a critical condition.
07:40 you were standing exactly at the border line 🙂
That barrier doesn’t look very safe . 🚩🚩🚩
No thankyou. For me Poland will always be associated with places like auschwitz, treblinka, dachau ext
Glad to see you made it to the mountaintop. The ridge you walked on is the border. You passed some borderstones along the way 🙂
it looks like Switzerland!!!
Thank You Gabriel Another Awesome Adventure the Views are Amazing up there in the Mountains Wow🙂❤👍
Great scenery. Weather good for the mountains. Nice buffet lunch and beer. Can't go wrong with that!
I love the mountains and the lakes and the buildings. It's all so clean and well kept! I didn't know it was so pretty. The spa yesterday looked very inviting. If you like the Alps and you have the chance to visit again here in Italy, I reccomend you the Alpe Veglia Valley in Ossola Valley. It's close to the Swiss border. You can visit only from May to October, but I solemnly swear it's the most beautiful place I have ever been. It's just the perfect place with the peaks (Monte Leone with its 3553 meters is stunning, the creek, the cows, the rural stone houses. There are one hotel and an alpine refuge where you can eat and sleep. And it's unknown, so you'll never find crowds up there. Also in Ossola Valley Monte Rosa from Macugnaga is amazing, as the National Park Val Grande as well, because it's a unhabited valley and it's the larger wilderness area in Northern Italy. Good and sturdy boots are quite expensive, but worth it. I use Scarpa brand, but Meindl are comfy too. I can't wait to follow you in the Slovakia adventure! Thanks for sharing your wanderings in Poland. I really enjoyed the videos. The half curtains was hysterical!
Because you have both a USA passport and a Canadian passport, could you visit the Schengen zone for 180 days using your USA passport then leave for a day and then return to the Schengen zone for another 180 days using your Canadian passport?
WOW what views you had! Absolutely stunning! Looking forward to the next video! We’ve only visited Bratislava in Slovakia for 2 nights can’t wait to see more of the country! ~Cara ❤
Tip for the shoes: while in Poland visit a DIY shop and get some proper shoe glue and remove the old super glue as much as possible….
Dude…there is one trail which is so dangerous that you can easily die.
Nice views, these mountain looks in High Tatras are always amazing. As for Lomnicky Štit, you must know that there are 3 stages to reach the peak at 2,634 m high with cable car. For the first two stages (chair lift from Tatranska Lomnica and first cable car to the lake Skalnate Pleso) ticket can always be bought on site while the third stage (special cable car to the top) must frequently be reserved in advance with a special hour of ride on internet (it can be purchased on site only if tickets for the ride are not sold out yet).
Chłopie ale buty masz tragiczne. W wysokie góry nie chodzi się w takich butach. W Zakopanem są dobre sklepy z butami, które są przeznaczone nawet w wysokie Himalaje. Doradzą ci i dobiorą odpowiednie buty. Zainwestuj w dobre buty bo to co masz na stopach to tragedia.
W Zakopanem jest drogo, a będzie jeszcze drożej bo turyści ze świata dopiero odkrywają to polskie St. Moritz. 😂😂
Ive been to Poland 2018 only been to Warsaw. I'd love to see the mountains there looks amazing
Absolutely perfect day for a hike up those mountains! Those views were spectacular! Good luck to Slovakia!
Makes me miss my mom speaking Polish.
Fantastic scenery, your videos have really opened my eyes to Poland, its a beautiful country, a different scene around ev6ery corner. 😊
Why the whispering?
You can't beat traditional unspoiled European culture, well done Poland 🇵🇱🤍
I took that ride up the mountain was windy then drank a nice hot wine with spices in that restaurant
Yeah unfortunately those shoes are cheap SEA rubbish. Straight in the dumpster get some quality ones!
Gabriel, Polacy to potrafią! Prawda!
Excellent scenic video. A mostly clear day so visibility was good. Was there any breathing issue's ?
This reminds of your trip to the Swiss Alps.
Yes, next week! 😀 Perfect – I was wondering about transport between Zakopane and Chochotow – looks like cheap public bus or Uber will work. Thanks so much for the info and blazing the trail! -Daniel
Always good when Gabriel puts that song in like the one that's heard at the end! Good tunes 👍
The views are like Colorado mountains from the plane 😊✌️
Jesus…Buy new shoes already lol
Those views are breathtaking!! You really show the beauty of the Tatra mountains on your hike. Well deserved food and beer! Poland looks amazing. So the adventure continues in Slovakia. Yes! 🙌❤😊
Barge All-Purpose Cement (shoe repair glue used by cobblers) is your friend! Smells for 24 hours then goes away. 😉
very cool !!! 🍻
I toured around Slovakia last summer to film for my channel, and recommend you see these places if you can. Probably accessible by regional bus: Tatranska Lomnica, Strbske Pleso, and cable car to Lomnicky Stit (second highest peak in Slovakia). These awesome medieval towns with bell towers you can climb and medieval walls, off the beaten path (few tourists when I visited): Banska Stiavnica (UNESCO World Heritage Site); Banska Bystrica has a great town square and amazing views from top of bell tower (which is slightly leaning); Levoca (one of the best preserved medieval towns in Slovakia) has nice medieval walls intact and stately old townhouses; Tatranska Lomnica (close to the cable car base). Bojnice is touristy (but with Polish tourists) and is a nice visit, has a castle and a zoo, and medieval wall, pleasant to walk – they had a band performance going when I was there. Cicmany is a tiny folk village of painted wooden houses, a ski lift nearby and probably good nearby hiking trails. Happy travels!
cool
mui bonitas las señoritas saludos
no need super glue need new shoes saludos
You should check the VALLEYS too. Names: "Koscieliska" and "Chocholowska". In one of you have plenty of caves, free to check and walk through.
Polish-Slovak border is not over the ridge. You were literally walking on it.
Hi Gabriel, a beautiful pre-hike for getting around the city, a preventive stress hike for navigating crowded cities, especially now with summer on the way. Looking forward to Slovakia, it should be an interesting trip. I always like your expression when you reach a new location, it's usually a good sign when you see something that catches you by surprise that you were not expecting.
You are a whore of a traveler brother. Do you ever get depressed knowing you’ve been everywhere? I’d imagine it being exhausting. On that note, I love the videos
