Luckily, she crosses paths with the talented duo, Hannes and Robert from Herbst Freitag, who come to her rescue with a specially designed headlight protector to prevent any further damage to her Yamaha Tenere 1VJ.
This episode showcases not only the importance of quality engineering but also the helpful and innovative spirit of the motorcycle community. It serves as a reminder that sometimes, it takes the expertise and creativity of fellow riders to keep a journey on track.

Does Franky has any warning light (like low pressure oil for example) ?
Great bike. There's nothing like having a tool properly designed for YOU and your specific needs. I'm afraid to see the total bill but guessing $27000 USD that's in 2024 dollars.
This is art, it is like buying a pizza to a real pizzaiolo vs ordering a pizza at domino's
Why didn't you goto Armenia? Much more beautiful!!

What is the seat height of your Tenere build? I'm 5'8" with a 30" inseam and the Tenere is way too tall for me!

Shudder to think how much this build is costing. No doubt about the quality of the work or fitness for purpose so I guess there is only one thing left to do – we better all race out and buy a copy of the book to help start paying for the you beaut Yamaha!!!!!!😂 Very well documented, and knowledge of the various components will certainly make it easier addressing the inevitable mechanical failures. So let the journey begin, much to look forward to.

It's been two months since this video came out, it's Jan 2025 as I write this. Some of us old bike guys at the time were making suggestions how the bike could have been improved (lights) but what NONE of us predicted was how some of the modifications here and the choice to use a bike with a kickstarter and a backup ignition coil would be a lifesaver as documented in future videos.
Watch the next series of videos to find out what happens next in the hit series "the Perils of Noraly." 😎
(Google The Perils of Pauline, an American silent film series from 1914 to fully understand this reference)
Is that a Landcruiser 70 series in Germany?
The kickstart came to be useful in Iraq after thieves messed up the bike wiring.
I'm watching this after her bike got stolen and the wires cut. Kick starting was a self fulfilling prophecy.
Yamaha should be more than Proud of Frankie’s Moritz and Noraly Job and Trip!
My cheek muscles are cramping having smiled throughout multiple episodes…..
What a beautiful looking bike.
So many smart changes. It helps a lot of riders to address the little annoyances. I really like how the guys you are working with you and using their experience to customize this bike for your style of riding and needs for comfort and reliability.
That kick start came in handy for sureeeeeee!!!
Coming back to watch this series now that Noraly is in Saudi Arabia it all seems like fore shadowing.
I wonder how long the mirrors will last😂 Poor Alaska’s mirrors still give me nightmares 🤣
Super work for side panels 🎉 really appreciated guys
The bike looks amazing!

Somehow the episodes I watched so far in this season feels kinda like a date with Moritz. Feels like a movie…. Much love to Motitz and his sun <3
