The Ultimate NYC Pizza Ranking: From Worst to Best!
In our latest video, “I Ranked Every NYC Pizza From Worst To Best!”, we take you on a tasty journey through the Big Apple’s iconic pizza scene across all five boroughs—Manhattan, the Bronx, Queens, Staten Island, and Brooklyn. Sponsored by GoDaddy, we dive right in, showcasing remarkable slices and unforgettable flavors, all while highlighting the local pizza experts who join me at each stop!
First up, we hit Manhattan, starting with the ever-popular Joe’s Pizza. Joined by local pizza aficionado Evan, we critique the classic “regular cheese” slice. While Joe’s holds a special place for tourists, Evan likens it to the “pumpkin spice latte of pizza”—basic but reliable. We scored it a solid 6.0, setting the bar for our remaining contenders.
Next, we ventured to Mama’s 2, where the wait was long but the flavors were off the charts. Sharing a unique square slice known as the Angry Nona, we marveled at its sweet and savory combination, ultimately awarding it a commendable 8.5.
Fast forward to our Staten Island adventures, where rapper and producer Uncommon Nasa championed local favorites like Denino’s and Joan Pats. The friendly rivalry between Staten Island and Brooklyn lived on as we sampled Nona’s, which Nasa described as the best slice in town. Scoring it an impressive 8.7, it was clear Staten Island wasn’t backing down!
Queen’s pizza scene was equally vibrant, led by our local expert Greg. We kicked things off at Rosario’s, where the homemade mozzarella stole the show, earning a high score of 9.1. Another must-try, Manos Pizzeria, brought a unique twist with its chicken cutlet slice, winning over hearts with a score of 9.3.
As we made our way to the Bronx, newcomer James the Camera Guy joined the action, savoring the quirky yet delicious offerings at Pugsley. The rich flavors of their pepper vodka pizza scored an 8.8, highlighting the Bronx’s underrated pizza scene.
Finally, we landed in Brooklyn, where our co-host Joey Nenina took us to beloved spots including L&B Spumoni Gardens and the renowned Dafara. Amid the nostalgia, Giovanna’s charming pizzeria, Luigi’s, topped our list with a stellar score of 9.2, but the reigning champion turned out to be La Industry from Manhattan with a commanding 9.5.
Join this epic pizza quest to find out which slice reigns supreme! Whether you prefer the traditional charm of a corner slice or a modern twist on old favorites, there’s something for every pizza lover. Love your videos! But, no Louie and Ernie's representation in The Bronx is absolutely absurd. Long Island should have an honorable mention segment, home of the Grandma Pie
@6:28 that's burnt
Who is this portnoy wannabe? Not good.
The upside down Sicilian is a Chicago deep dish.
AVENGERS ASSEMBLE
Joes is way better than 6.0, born and raised new yorkrr here.
why didn't yall go to ceres in manhattan?
I live in California and I love watching all your videos about New York! If I ever decide to visit there, I'm definitely watching this video again about the best pizza. There's a place out here in California called East Eoast Pizza Company that to me is the closest thing to a New York slice!
Kind of a rookie mistake not to get the same type of slice at every place for a fair comparison. If you're getting regular get regular, toppings – stick with the same.
I'd like to see a video about Ray's Pizza and all the knockoffs that it's spawned, which one is the best?
Try a whole pizza tour 1. Scarrs pizza 2.Little Fino 3.Razza pizza NJ 4. Rucola BK 5. Una Pizza Napolitan 6.Ceres pizza 7. Song e Napule 8. Lil Frankies 9. Dominos
Joe’s is amazing. Stop playing. Best slice in nyc. Easy 9/10. Dave portnot rated it 8.5. I love your videos but you’re wrong. Joes pizza amazing pizza
Di fara ❤️
Just change the name of the video and it'll be ok. Otherwise where is Scarrs, Slice Joint, Don Antonio, Lucali, Paulie G's, John's, etc, etc.
I must say agree with this delicious video but I hope in the future you compare each Boros best cheese pizza for a fair comparison and I want to add three words NEW PARK PIZZA
Ngl this vid was good and I liked it but the ratings were FRAUD… still dropping a like but don’t agree with taste buds and that’s fine
Hi! I’m coming to NY next week. I can’t seem to find but where can I buy a city pass for attractions and metro card ?
Add North Jersey into the mix to: Patsy's Paterson, Ness Pizza in Fair Lawn, Roman's in New Milford… so many options
Have you tried a few of the best pizza spots in NJ?
the little korean kid is adorable
House slice is at least 50x better than any square slice at Mama's Too
L'Industrie is #1 for me. I'm a sucker for Bleecker St Pizza's Nonna Maria pie ( slices). I take tourists there and the average rating is 9.0 . Lou and Ernie's in The Bronx is just so-so. Pugsley's was really good, Scarr's on Orchard St is 8.5. Thanks for this video and keep up your labor of love.
Hi Guys. I want to try Pugley's, Tommy's, Louie and Ernie, L Industries, Cello's, Scarrs, Pizza loves sauce, Di fara, Luigi's, Mano's, Denino's. I like Joe's and Mama's Too 😀😃. Good cheese to sauce ratio at Joe's. Mama's Too great creative pizza. Honorable mention, Bleecker Street Pizza. I tried my buddy Johnny's Nonna marie slice. It was good. I want to try their mushroom and cheese slice.🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕
Nick’s pizza in forest hills is amazing too.
What’s the first guy’s fucking problem with Joe’s?
It’s goddamn pizza. Enjoy and more importantly stfu.
Yay, Greg!!
Classic Jon Barr video gotta love it!!!
Louie and Ernie’s was pretty good
That extra glob of cheese on top of the pizza is definitely a northeastern thing
The pizzerias there in NYC looked so delicious Jon. I was impressed by these slices shown on camera 📷 and Cheers 🍻 for sharing mate 👍
0:00 Say what now? Just Pizza?
If you're gonna eat it as a full fold then may as well order a calzone
I would try 1st "Luigi"s" and 2nd "L'industrie". "L'industrie" for the cheese and the olive oil put on top at the and -for me a must, "Luigi's" for the owner and the "grandma pizza". The owner makes the atmosphere !
Can we please stop mentioning Portnoy in these pizza reviews? The man is a rapist and a genocidal madman.
John! How could you???? No Bleeker Street Pizza Nona Maria??? You go to Joe's??? It's not getting stabbed in the Heart! How much more betrayal can I take?!
I like this guy even though he looks like a Jew lol just kidding. All my best friends are Jewish. I’m a comedian.😂
I was in New York a couple months ago looking at watches lol that place is a cesspool ,,,throw up piss shit everywhere horrible air quality. The subway is all Ricky T. Everything‘s old and dirty. The restaurants are super tiny. Everything’s expensive and packed everybody’s pissed off literally even a woman with a baby looks like she’s about to kill somebodylol I don’t think human being should live like that so I’m happy to live in Tampa Florida clean fresh spread out hot chicks everywhere. Everybody’s happy.
Everybody looks sickly in New York
Greet Video! New York pizza is the best!
The Staten Island guy’s clasped hands stance is cringy as hell lmao
