Israel’s army chief, Herzi Halevi, has delivered a powerful message to his troops amidst escalating tensions with Hezbollah in Lebanon. “You hear the jets overhead; we have been striking all day. This is both to prepare the ground for your possible entry and to continue degrading Hezbollah,” Halevi stated. He emphasized that the goal of the strikes is to ensure the safety of residents in the northern part of Israel.
